“Was there lastnight (1st Nov) for swim under the stars and the pool and the staff are fab. Really helpful for our first visit even thou they where busy with the night. Had a great time and a laugh with pool exercise and hot chocolate at end of the night. Will be back.”
“Met with Sarah and had a full tour of the facility. She was very knowledgable, helpful and friendly. She answered all my questions and made me feel welcome at the club. Introduced me to Julie just before an aqua class was starting and she made me feel welcome too. Have now joined and signing up for aqua class later on this week. Thank you Sarah.”
“Absolutely fabulous! Took the dog swimming here tonight with a friend and their dog. What a wonderful fun time we all had. The pool is excellent! My dog had a brilliant time and was getting more and more confident throughout the session. Such joy to see your furry baby having the best time”
“A nice and quiet park I hope you will visit this beautiful place in Glasgow and it is full of beautiful history of the great country of Scotland stemming from beautiful nature”
“Best staff out there always happy to help regardless if your new or a seasoned vet. If you haven't paid them a visit it's worthwhile.”
“Excellent quality pool/dining table; the delivery guys were really friendly and informative and built up the table very quickly and efficiently - they were also very friendly towards our dog who took a liking to them; really pleased with the service all round, would definitely recommend.”
“Great outdoor pool! Salt water pool with showers, changing rooms and a fab view! £6.20 entry, well worth the visit. Will be back!”
“Outstanding service from start to finish. Graeme, the owner, went above and beyond — even attending on a Saturday evening at short notice to sort a leak with our pool. Friendly, knowledgeable, and kept us updated at every stage. A genuinely brilliant team. Would recommend them without hesitation.”
“We taken our girls twice. They both had great time we definitely be going back again.”
“My wee one goes to swimming classes there and she loves it. She's been to a few pools round the area, but Port Glasgow is one of the cleanest, without the horrendous chlorine smell that other pools have. Staff are always nice and friendly. The water is warm and the viewing platform is handy.”
“Exactly as a swimming pool should be for families. Swimming lessons well organised and safely executed.”
“Great experience. Loved the atmosphere. It's not common that you can take your 3 year old kid to a football game so being able to enjoy a football game where my kid can play about, where there are other kids and not constant swearing is nice. Everyone is friendly and respectful, lots of space, very welcoming. Very nice to see the kids playing with footballers after the game”
“Pollok Swimming pool is almost as a great day on the beach, wave n flume, n swimming area, my grandsons gaining fun confidence, staff are kind too. Roll on the school summer holidays, cheers.”
“This is not the fanciest gym you’ve ever been too and yes some of the equipment is a bit tired but the staff are brilliant and welcoming. Just remember, fancy machines don’t get you into shape.... it’s all up to the individual, this gym has everything one needs to succeed and I look forward to my gym sessions here. Well done staff, you are a great team.”
“Great pool. Very clean and well maintained.”
“Safe from beginning to end. Our NHS heroes do their best to make you feel safe, and they succeed. A note: They give you the ‘Read this before you take the vaccine’ notification *after* you’ve received it, but they do ask you questions to assure safety before you get the jab.”
“Was a great place for sport activities and has a running track”
“You wouldn’t think this was a council pool (no offence) it can be cold at times but… The warm welcome from Stuart on reception makes my day. It just shines positivity and lovely welcome. The changing village is immaculate it’s cleaner than some higher chain private places in my opinion. The pool itself is 20 meters and I have multiple disabilities. This is where I feel safe I love water but the pool side staff are extra vigilant in safety. Particularly Steven, Claire, Becca and Jack. When aqua aerobics are on I’ve overheard them radio to keep on those that may be struggling. They ensure the safety of everybody in the pool is of importance. The above staff Abby, guy with cool tattoos (Gerry) and younger girl are also so kind and supportive. They are not just life guards they are approachable friendly staff that make sure your well-being is first and foremost. Steven, Becca and Jack are very educated in hidden disabilities and wish there were more people like them in the world. As I am quite anxious I couldn’t feel more relaxed and safe than at easterhouse pool. The tiles are free of grime unlike other glasgow life pools and I am so lucky to have such a wonderful facility on my doorstep. Just to add Ian the manager who also has cool tattoo's is a very considerate caring person thank you so much. My only thing is I wish they were open weekends and mornings as I swim most days I dread having to go to other pools. Highly recommended!”
“Good pool to send your kids for them swimming classes. Teachers are pretty great with the kids ,teaching them and disciplining them in the pools.Trust me they are very patient. And the lifeguards are constantly on the foot ,walking around the pools ,monitoring each pool and the kids/adults in the waters. Gives you the sense of complete safety. Parents waiting area is not very spacious but it's good enough. Well maintained and clean pool area Staffs are quite friendly and ready to offer any help when needed”
“We go first thing in the morning 8 O'clock All I can say is the staff are welcoming and helpful when we are there Also the people that do go swimming are all very friendly it's a nice relaxing environment”
“Absolutely immaculately clean and tidy, along with very helpful staff. An asset to any community.”
