“As part of a guided tour, we were brought to this location. The weather was rainy, with dark clouds overhead and mild temperatures, which lent a certain atmosphere to the experience. However, the fountain itself was not operational at the time of our visit. The fountain, crafted from terracotta, features numerous intricate and impressive details that reflect the high level of craftsmanship involved in its creation. According to the nearby signage, it is regarded as one of the finest examples of terracotta fountain design in the world.”
“Easy to get to from city centre, nice size to walk around. They have pond with Swans and ducks. Definitely worth a visit.”
“Just had a fab meal at Buck’s Bar, West Regent St. Love it here! Food was so good! The Chicken and Waffles are amazing. Great atmosphere, vibe and soundtrack! Brilliant staff/team too. 10/10 from start to finish. A well deserved 5 star review!”
“Beautiful escape from the city! Easily accessible by car with numerous parking spaces, some small, some larger. Gorgeous views of Paisley, Glasgow, and the mountains. The terrain is not challenging and is suitable for young children. Most of the areas are not wheelchair accessible but the view point has a parking lot, so it's a very good spot for people who would struggle walking long distances.”
“Fascinating museum with much to see. I especially recommend the miners cottages through the ages. Main museum has much to see inside of it's raining. Nice walk around the outside with a play area if it's not raining. Good canteen and the wee sweet shop a treat. Friendly helpful staff. All free. It was a pity the tram wasn't running and a few exhibits outside are either covered or in need of attention.”
“Bit muddy the day i went but let me tell you Tasty Totties That guy does a mean feast my daughter gave her curry 100out of 100 i give him a cheeky 9 out of 10 for his chilli cause mines is the best... ha ha brilliant wee market plenty going on right next to the play park.”
“Into The Park Bar Clydebank and seen Martin and the chefs and great meeting up with very friendly and helpful staff. Great to have drink and something to eat and ideal for party and get together.”
“Great area for a good run around with your dog. High fences and screening between fields to minimise distraction of dog to other dogs. Tap available to fill water bowl. 2 water bowls there but you may want to bring your own. Easy online booking followed by email with gate access code.”
“Very peaceful and beautiful small waterfall. My daughter loved the “exploring of a new world” haha Easy to get to, just follow the main path along, don’t worry about the GPS as it takes you the harder, muddier way.”
“Lovely place for a walk. Popular with families and dog walkers. Nice photo opps. Good paths, some are quite steep. Can walk round in an hour or so depending on your speed and how often you stop to enjoy the scenery and take pics.”
“Bingham’s Pond was our favorite place while living on Whittinghame Drive. My children enjoyed playing with the beautiful white swans.”
“Great place for a walk and picnic. Stunning views of loch lomond. Grounds are spotlessand well maintained. The castle is closed to the public but if you have an interest in history or just like to visit beautiful buildings then its worth a visit if in the area. Public toilets are in the castle. If you walk down the hill towards the pier there is a kiosk if you want to grab an ice cream.”
“Beautiful and rugged. I cycled from Wemyss Bay along the aqueduct, a tough ride on my bike but it would make a great walk too. Be prepared for the weather though.”
“Beautiful Southside parkland running alongside the River Cart. Woodlands and paths are clean and tidy. There is an accessible waterfall and lots of grassy areas with benches to rest. It’s peaceful, simple and relaxing. One of the largest and nicest parks in Glasgow and well worth a drive to.”
“An amazing place! Would love to always play some tennis there.”
“First time there with .y Grandson for Goalkeeping Classes. Staff were very informative with directions to court where my Grandson was training Plenty of parking but as it was very busy had to sit for a short time before finding a parking space.”
“What a gorgeous public park! It has a magical feel to it with the different layers of the park, woodland walk and there’s even a swing park for kids! Cannot recommend enough for people to take a trip here and enjoy the beauty of this beautiful place.”
“Lovely public park in the west end of Glasgow. Plenty of free on street parking nearby. Only slight disappointment is that the Fossil Grove is now only open on very limited circumstances - 1 Sunday afternoon per month for 6 months of the year.”
“Absolutely stunning Garden and house just south of Glasgow. Lovely Cafe with an excellent Flat White.”
“Lovely place to go for a walk along the nature trail, great playpark for the kids and climbers, climb the rock facing regularly, lovely pond area too with swans ducks and young too.”
“Well it looks good and full of symbols”
“Lovely country park with some shorter walks around the loch or longer walks of you want to incorporate the woodland or other sections of the seven lochs area. There are two playparks, one designed for smaller children and a larger wooden fort with rope swings, climbing frames and flying fox for older children. Great place to walk, run or cycle and the park is really well kept with lots of wildlife. Also a cafe with access to toilets when open. Car park can become very crowded on sunny weekends.”
“Ryan showed me and my partner round the David Lloyd’s in Hamilton and was super informative and helpful. He took the time to explain all the facilities and how we would go about booking in for classes within the gym. We were offered a drink whilst we sat down to complete our membership, nothing was a bother and the whole process was smooth and easy thanks to Ryan.”
“Always a pleasure to visit David Lloyd. The facilities are great and the staff are always so friendly and helpful. We've had a family membership for over 20 years and still really enjoy it. In my opinion, it's the best gym in the area.”
“The woods are carpeted with bluebells in the Spring. Great walking paths to enjoy and spot the wildlife. Excellent for walking the dog”
“My favourite local park, always enjoy a saunter around with my dog meeting other dogs and their owners. Cafe has lovely coffee too.”
“Wonderful peaceful place to go for a walk and take in some nature. This area is my go to place locally for walking the dogs, pathways are extensive and mixed, in relatively good condition (although some eroded by River Clyde) and currently there is obviously some work going on to provide markers and new information boards. If visiting please take your litter with you, I often see volunteers cleaning it up which they shouldn’t have to.”
“The architectural designs here are worth seeing, stunning. The swinging beams over the pool are great for strength, skill and entertainment value. Lovely pool, clean, great facilities. Decent showers. Original cool dip plunge bath”
“We had a lovely BBQ dayout on a warm day. There is plenty of open space for large outdoor parties, and activities for all ages, M&Ds is next door, boating, cycling and kid's play area. Nice walks around the loch. Pls dont use disposable bbqs on the grass, dispose off ash carefully and leave the area clean for other users.”
