“Can't beat a private tour. First time booking with ToursByLocals. Glad I found Matthew! Weeks before our arrival, we were back and forth selecting the best way to spend our day together for my family of 5 adults from Canada of Clan Cameron of Erracht heritage. Matthew was knowledgeable, funny and accommodating!! Shortly after meeting us, we had an excellent banter. We all laughed a lot. Despite a mix of sun and quite miserable wind, rain and hail, Matthew made our day touring the Inverness area perfect!!”

Smiths were excellent at dealing with our dietary requirements and gave us ample space in the restaurant for comfortable eating as we had two babies in prams. “What a delight to eat at this beautiful restaurant. My husband and I turned up without reservations today after a tough morning following a bereavement to try and take our minds off our sadness. The restaurant owner pulled out all the stops to find us a table, and his kind and friendly manner instantly lifted our spirits. The food was the best we have ever eaten, the staff were so attentive and clearly very happy in their work, and the other customers were obviously in their happy places too. “The service is always great in here, the staff can't do enough for you. Food was great, we got the set meal which was very reasonable for the amount that we all got. If you haven't tried this place for food and are considering going do it, I would definitely recommend.”

“We had a family meal there on a dank Thursday night but the welcome from Imogen and Lucy brightened up the evening. They looked after us very well and are a credit to Michaelangelo's. Our chef popped out from the kitchen and introduced herself and checked that our food was to our liking. We'll definitely be back.”

“A perfect summer surprise at Oiishi. A longtime favourite that keeps getting better. My partner and I have been coming to Oiishi for over six years now, and not once have we left disappointed. This time, we decided to try their new summer tasting menu for my birthday, a bit of a change from our usual favourites, and we were pleasantly surprised. The experience was beautifully paced, allowing us to really savour each dish as it arrived. The summer menu gave us the chance to try things we might never have ordered otherwise, and it opened our eyes to some fantastic new flavours. Highlights included the melt-in-your-mouth wagyu beef, the delicate and refreshing ebi summer rolls, and the beautifully presented tuna tartare. Every bite was thoughtful and refined. We ended the evening with a refreshing mango sorbet, which came with a delightful little surprise, a perfect way to round off what was a special birthday date night. If I had to pick a negative, which ultimately wasn’t a negative as it still tasted delicious as it is, was the Chilled Ramen with Volcano sauce didn’t have a lot of spice to it. We were expecting to have a kick of heat but it wasn’t there. The staff were exceptional throughout, attentive, informative, and welcoming. Each dish was introduced with care, and a personal visit from the chef to check on our experience was a warm and much-appreciated gesture. For the quality and variety, the summer menu is excellent value. We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. If you’re looking for a relaxed, high-quality tasting experience that offers both comfort and creativity, we can’t recommend Oiishi enough.”

“Me and my partner went to the Blue Sky Lounge for our dinner after the stadium tour and had a lovely meal. Top points - Card only payments - Is Wheelchair Accessible We went on a Sunday and the carvery was on, the food was fantastic and staff were excellent. We had a clean booth with comfortable seats and strong tables overlooking the stunning Ibrox pitch. It was a starter, carvery and dessert for £37. The starters, a choice of pâté or lentil soup were served quickly and were absolutely delicious, at the carvery you can get 4 different kind of meats we had a bit of everything (Turkey, beef, chicken and pork), lots of different side dishes including massive Yorkshire puddings, mac n cheese, cauliflower cheese, roast and mashed potatoes, roasted veg and mixed veg, with an option of 4 desserts (Chocolate Mousse, Vanilla Cheesecake, Chocolate fudge cake and apple crumble. My partner and I were very happy with the food and really feel like we got our moneys worth. Would recommend to rangers supporters of any vintage and tourists who are in the area and looking for a great meal.”

“We had our first visit here last evening and have to say if we stayed in Glasgow we would be here all of the time. I had put in a request for a quieter area if possible due to our daughter struggling with busy areas. They went above and beyond making sure she was comfortable and it made her evening to feel so special. The food was 10 out of 10 for all meals, the kids came out as soon as it was ready.
