βGabby and sammy were amazing, brilliant service. Food came really quickly and was absolutely delicious. Would recommend the carbonara, fish of the day, focaccia and cheesecake. Such a shame I live in England not Scotland.β
βAt Dim Sum, we felt that this truly is a place where flavour meets comfort. We were welcomed by a calm and cosy atmosphere, accompanied by gentle background music β an ideal setting for a leisurely lunch or a warm get-together with loved ones. We felt at home straight away β thanks to the kind and genuinely attentive staff, who go out of their way to make each guest feel relaxed and well cared for. The steamed signature dim sum stood out in particular: delicate, tender pastry, rich and well-balanced fillings, and a beautifully presented, almost tranquil aesthetic. The menu as a whole surprised us with its thoughtful variety β both in taste and in combinations. You can tell that every dish is prepared with great care and love. Dim Sum isnβt just a restaurant β itβs a space of flavour, peace, and heartfelt hospitality. Highly recommended β and who knows, like us, you may find yourself wanting to return again and again.β
βReally great experience! Food was fresh, delicious, and different from your typical fare - exactly what we were looking for. The service was friendly and quick, and there was a nice atmosphere. Plus, the pickles were genuine sour pickles (none of those sweet pickle disasters!). Highly recommend.β
βFood is plenty and delicious staff is friendly service is warmβ
βMy boyfriend and I had a lovely lunch this February. The service was excellent, friendly and attentive to your needs. Lots of information given about menu items and portion sizes. My boyfriend had the seafood soup which he loved and the battered prawns which were excellent. I went for the seafood stew which was also very tasty. The portion sizes were reasonable. I particularly like the fact that it is all fresh seafood not frozen. Because I love fresh seafood I would definitely go back. I thought the prices were on the high side but as I love fresh lobster, prawns and clams, I think it is worth a treat from time to time. Love that it's dog friendly. Our overall experience was fantastic and I would recommend this gastro pub .β
βThe Food Seemed to be freshly made ,spice just right, Flavour just right , The king prawns were fat And smashing The Lamb pepper curry laced with black pepper was so south indian that I thought I was back in Bangalore. All in all one of the best South indian eating establishments in Glasgow So this is a Friday night around 6.30 and the place has only one other paying customer, we had the restaurant to ourselves, that was just amazing for as it was a birthday treat by my wife Advice to the manager , hope you don't mind me saying, drop the old whiney indian music and get some contemporary indian music thru the speakers , also the staff , all the staff were men . How about some pretty south indian girls as waiters too with highly coloured Kurtas, ,,,,, smiling girls Led candles on the tables Dim the main lights down down Lighting creates an atmosphere just by itself How about a happy hour a discounted period of time What about a man on the door inviting passing footfall to the culinary delights of South india Inundate social media with pics Get all your staff to like and add to social media Now one small complaint the draught beer I watched the waiter pour the beer into the glass , he constantly shook the glass as it filled up , it looked good as it was placed in front of my , but went flat very quickly quickly....... get training on how to pour a proper pint , that's a skill in itself Adjust the gas so that it's more aireated Amazing food food So much potentialβ
βThis is a great restaurant in the heart of Glasgow. Would be perfect for solo dinners through to big groups. The staff are really friendly and happy to help. We were in after 5 and enjoyed the pre theatre menu. I had the sweet and sour and it was great. I tried the chicken feet but must admit it wasn't for me. I'd definitely recommend this place for the atmosphere, service and food (just not the feet lol).β
βNO complaints from us. We ignored recommendations for other restaurants in Merchant City and were very glad we did. Fantastic, honest, high quality fayre. HUGE portion sizes. Not pretentious and doesn't have to be....does exactly what the owners promised. I went traditional Turkey, the wife had Chicken and Haggis Pie. Starters Cullenskink soup and Prawn n smoke Salmon (Marie Rose sauce was best she's ever tasted) The pie would have fed 2 (and did, I helped myself to a couple of healthy portions!)β
βIt was my second time at Halloumi and it was simply incredible. The food was amazing, I really like how the Greek dips come with a Pitta bread that you can share with the table. The dessert was definitely the best part! I also loved the service and atmosphere, definitely recommend to come here for dinner.β
βSurprisingly great pub food for Glasgow. Nothing like your normal Wethersoons/Hungry Horse, the burger here had an amazing crisp bun on it and tased so fresh. I also had a slice of the sticky toffee pudding which was very delicious and well presented. It was order at the bar, however the staff were very pleasant and welcoming, bring the food to the table and checking in that everything was good. The atmosphere was pretty quiet tonight as there was nothing on, however they have a board at the door that was full of things like Poker Night and sports events. I'll definitely be back and would throughly recommend a visit.β
βI would give this place 100 stars if I could. I am coeliac and from the offset Rebecca made sure I could enjoy tasty food while still being safe. She chatted to me on the phone the night before and then throughout the meal helped me find gluten free options with a personalised menu. Rebecca and all of the staff went above and beyond for me and my family. Not to mention, the food was TO DIE FOR. I could not recommend this place more, especially for people with food allergies, they go above and beyond to make you safe while still providing the yummiest food. Thank you!β
βStayed here a couple of times and I have to say that as far as Premiere Inns go this is probably the best hotel nationally. New clean premises and great service all around. Quiet location off M74, but only 10-15 min to Glasgow Center. Cinema and big shops at the doorstep. Big shout-out to Denise at reception who helped make the stay of our group of 10 as pleasant and smooth as possibleβ
βThe food is delicious and great value for money. Service is fast and staff are lovely. Not usually a wait and tgere is free parking in the backβ
βLovely friendly local restaurant serving delicious fresh and very reasonably priced buffet. There is a good variety of dishes to choose from and try and the quality of the food was lovely. We felt very welcome in the restaurant by the staff who went above and beyond and even introduced my partner to a dish he hadnβt tried before and explained spice levels of various curries. We always enjoy a visit to this clean and cosy restaurant that is a hidden gem :) thank you guys!β
βFood was delicious....service was perfect.. .Will definitely return very soon.β
βThe two guys who own this are absolutely amazing, very friendly and the cafe is very clean and tidy. Great size portions. Well worth a wee visitβ
βI really like this cinema, slightly more expensive but so worth it. Big reclining seats and lots of room.β
βVery nice place staff were excellent good pricesβ
βVery nice and QUIET hotel located between George Square and Argyle Street. The staff were very helpful and attentive and the rooms were clean and well kept. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate are available for free whereas breakfast is optional for a daily fee in advance or on the day. We opted out of breakfast and used one or other of the nearby cafΓ©s. Glasgow Queen Street and Glasgow Central Stations are within 10 to 15 minutes walk and the shopping delights of Argyle Street or Buchanan Street are close by. This us the nicest hotel we have stayed in in Glaagow for a while and we will be back!β
βI wish I could add more stars because this is honestly the best place I've ever stayed on Glasgow. My room did upgraded to the family suite even though it was just myself but the room was practically big enough to live in and be comfortable. Breakfast was also the best breakfast I've had in my entire life. 10/10 Definitely recommend to friends and family.β
βThis hotel is attached to the train station and centrally located in downtown Glasgow. It is a very elegant hotel with all the expected amenities. Breakfast buffet was well stocked and delicious with attentive wait staff. Location is great for restaurants, stores, etc and walking around was easy. Highly recommended.β
β5 stars again. Doubletree by hilton. Our 3 stay here and you dont disappoint from the reception staff to the rooms. Outstanding. It was a birthday trip for 16 year old daughter, we booked the hotel to go see a show. What a fantastic birthday she had, the balloon, banner and chocolates request was dealt with effectively and quickly. We checked in early. Had to pay but didnt mind. Our room was not ready, we went shopping and came back luggage and decorations where all in room in place for us returning. We will definitely be booking for our next trip. Thank you again .β
βThe best Travelodge Iβve stayed in. Recent refurb makes it feel brand new (though a bit more obvious they havenβt replaced the carpets). Is still a travelodge but a very good one. Youβve probably got to drive if you want a selection of food places or shopsβ
βThis was a trip to see the Christmas Markets in Glasgow and Edinburgh to include my wife, myself and our dog. We were all made most welcome. The duty staff were very helpful and answered our varied questions politely and if they didn't know the answer they found out for us. The room was super and the breakfast very good for the price. The hotel was superbly situated for the Christmas activities and the station for our trip to Edinburgh. I suspect that parking could be a problem but we have a blue badge which meant we could park outside for as long as we were there.β
βThe food was good. The atmosphere was warm and comfy. Martin was a great bartender and he answered our questions about Glasgow. We appreciated his information, opinion, and vibe!β
βOrdered 16 " pepperoni pizza and chips. Huge selection to choose from. Food was delicious, staff friendly. Would definitely visit againβ
βVisited with my husband, my bother and sister in law last night. Food and service was excellent. The complimentary chilli chicken was amazing, thank you.. Cannot fault this restaurant. For me by far the best in our area.β
βCourtney has been an amazing bartender, been caring and passionate about our experience. Been here with couple of friends and the live music always brings to a wonderful atmosphere. Only came for drinks but the bartender are generous with their pours. Definitely recommend.β
