The staff were so welcoming and attentive (but in an unobtrusive way), the food was really delicious, and there was even live background music in the form of a pianist playing a mix of classical and more modern pop on the baby grand. “Went back again today 13 August with my husband to meet up with my brother who is over from Saudi. Food was delicious again. I had the prawn and smoked salmon rigatoni and a couple of half priced cocktails. The guys had burgers and fries. One had the chicken milanese burger and the other the beefburger. My brother opted for the carbonara fries as he said he'll stock up on his bacon intake prior to heading back to Saudi on Friday as it'll be Christmas School hols before he gets back to Scotland. They both had soft drinks and a coffee. No desserts as we were all too full as portions are large. I had again a £10 act of kindness emailed voucher which was handy and the 25% meerkat discount made the bill just £52.72. Thanks again to the very lovely and friendly Twandi for welcoming us back and for looking after us so we'll. See you again soon. Janice Xx”

“We had to book here last minute as part of our first family holiday, as the apartment we had booked got cancelled on us a couple of weeks before we were due to go on holiday. Our son is non verbal autistic, and we were worried about him being able to escape from hotel rooms with ordinary twist locks...these room were perfect as they have good old fashioned key locks, which kept our son safe and gave us peace of mind! We preferred the ensuit room to the room with the separate shower, but our experience here was fab with both rooms that we stayed in! Plenty of tea and coffee, water provided in the mini fridges and lots of clean towels available! We hope to come and stay here again!”

“Took my sons here before going to the airport. Ordered Biriyani lam in clay pot, chicken tikka and a tikka in spinach sauce. All dishes were perfect and particularly the garlic nan which was huge. Staff and manager were really nice. Can’t wait to visit again”

“First visit to the Maldron or the group and was impressed by the experience. Staff were all first class, communicative and industrious with a pleasant demeanour. Quality of finishings was excellent, very comfortable bed and very clean room and public areas. Breakfast selection was as expected, was regularly refreshed and plenty available. Look forward to my next visit.”

“This is the second Beijing Banquet we've visited. It was a lot smaller inside and not all the same selection, but the quality was so much better! Proper car park outside with disabled spaces. The food was fresh and regularly refilled. The chocolate fountain and popcorn machine both actually worked! Also, no loud music. Staff friendly and attentive. Will be back soon when the kids are off school.”

“Had a fantastic stay here! - Check in was really easy even when we were hit with a slight issue. It was sorted swiftly and easily with plenty of help! - All the staff we encountered and interacted with were kind, accommodating, friendly and really made me (a person with severe anxiety) feel at ease! - the living space was a relaxed atmosphere and comfortable, great place to chill if you don’t want to be confined to your room. - The rooms are small but all the space is utilised perfectly! Everything is controlled via the hotel iPad or the app on your phone which makes it feel so fun and exciting. - The bed was huge and unbelievably comfortable with spare pillows available in the drawer. My partner who sleeps terribly in hotels, slept like an absolute log. I’ve never known her to sleep so well away from home! - Breakfast was delicious, I was especially a fan of the scrambled egg. I can also vouch for the mochas - the perfect temperature and coffee to chocolate ratio. - everything was lovely and quiet, we even had construction going on outside our bedroom window and we didn’t hear a sound from them. What I will say is if you do plan to come here with someone else, make sure it’s someone your comfortable with because, while not crystal clear, the shower has frosted glass so you can see a relatively clear silhouette of whoever is showering. And the only negatives I can say is the water temperature was a little hard to manage at times but it wasn’t anything scandalous and one of the lifts wasn’t working which was completely fine but definitely slowed things down a smidge. But honestly none of these things negatively impacted my stay so I maintain my 5 stars. We will be back!”

“Tried a new takeaway in Paisley area ordered gyros for delivery for dinner the food is so so good and tasty the gyros was filled to the brim with the spicy mayo there was also different options for vegans as well! and delivery was fast around 30 mins it was during a storm on a Thursday night so we dint mind waiting for 20-30 mins due to a storm but recommend to try this gyros takeaway if your in the paisley area!”

“The staff went above and beyond. Ross was our server and Zoe kindly dressed up as Santa for all of the kids. The kids received a present and had another staff member making balloon shapes for the kids.. the service was amazing as were the staff. Made us feel so comfortable”
