Great service and perfect location, including excellent soundproofing. But some real problems with the room: - no kettle or coffee machine - no cups or glasses or even a plastic cup for your toothbrush - shower trays that flood - one of two lifts not working, so getting to and from the 6th floor could take a long time Citizen M put a huge amount of effort into service and βvibeβ but the rooms are really Premier Inn standard - the situation of the bed suits a single traveller but might be annoying for a couple

IF you are into TECH, then you will probably appreciate all the gadgetry, but being a baby boomer I prefer to use a light switch, a tv remote etc. ETC. a tablet controls ALL functions in the room, blinds, sheers MOOD lighting the TV and much more ... problems (for me) were needing my glasses every time I wanted to use the i pad, could NOT figure out how to individually operate lights n such. With Mrs. A sleeping I went down for an early morning coffee, upon returning I used the key card, only to find that upon opening the door, the shades & blinds were both operating, not pleasing to a sleeping Mrs. A. It IS a very cool lounge / bar / restaurant area, very modern vibe - SPA007

The room was beautiful, spacious, modern, and thoughtfully styled. The bed was huge, the sheets smelled divine, and the smart tech added a sleek touch. Location? Fantastic. But for a 4-star hotel, the essentials were missing. No mini fridge. No kettle. No tea or coffee in-room, only available downstairs, and not complimentary. For someone who starts the day with a quiet hot drink, this felt like a misstep. The bathroom ventilation was loud and intrusive. The TV barely worked, leaving the evening flat. One elevator was broken, not a dealbreaker, but at this level, everything should be seamless. I didnβt need luxury. I needed care in the details. Mcitizen looked the part, but didnβt fully play it.

Had a fantastic stay here! - Check in was really easy even when we were hit with a slight issue. It was sorted swiftly and easily with plenty of help! - All the staff we encountered and interacted with were kind, accommodating, friendly and really made me (a person with severe anxiety) feel at ease! - the living space was a relaxed atmosphere and comfortable, great place to chill if you donβt want to be confined to your room. - The rooms are small but all the space is utilised perfectly! Everything is controlled via the hotel iPad or the app on your phone which makes it feel so fun and exciting. - The bed was huge and unbelievably comfortable with spare pillows available in the drawer. My partner who sleeps terribly in hotels, slept like an absolute log. Iβve never known her to sleep so well away from home! - Breakfast was delicious, I was especially a fan of the scrambled egg. I can also vouch for the mochas - the perfect temperature and coffee to chocolate ratio. - everything was lovely and quiet, we even had construction going on outside our bedroom window and we didnβt hear a sound from them. What I will say is if you do plan to come here with someone else, make sure itβs someone your comfortable with because, while not crystal clear, the shower has frosted glass so you can see a relatively clear silhouette of whoever is showering. And the only negatives I can say is the water temperature was a little hard to manage at times but it wasnβt anything scandalous and one of the lifts wasnβt working which was completely fine but definitely slowed things down a smidge. But honestly none of these things negatively impacted my stay so I maintain my 5 stars. We will be back!

Very cool hotel. The welcome was speedy and friendly. Most of the appliances in the room (blinds, lights, tv, etc) are controlled through a tablet which gives a very different experience. The hotel design was worth a visit. Bed was comfortable and the vibes in the hotel were tranquil allowing to rest peacefully during the night. I didnβt try the room service or the bar but there was those options too. Room had hairdryer and there is also capacity for luggage storage if you need to leave something before checking in or out to collect it later. The hotel decoration was great.

5 star review as a great place, location and staff. We wouldnβt stay again as like most modern hotels the room is a sealed air conditioned box. Iβm grumpy and like fresh air. Especially after a great night out drinking too much in Glasgow. Hey ho but thatβs us.

Took a while to get in, buzzers didnt seem to get through to the staff, a guest let me in. Facilities could have been better, no toilets on the ground floor near to the conference rooms. Staff were lovely though and the place was spotless. The lounge areas are a great idea.

The hotel is in quite a good location if you are bringing your car and park at the Campbell Street multi story car park as the hotel is a 2 minute walk away. Rooms are small but nice and clean with access to shower and toilet via stylish frosted glass enclosure built into the room. You have access to lights, TV, blinds and curtains via the Ipad beside your bed which was a nice touch. We would stay here again if the price was right and not high as we have seen before from this hotel. All staff we encountered where friendly.
