   Cathy and her sweet husband, Sandy greeted us with open arms from the very start! Rooms were sweet, comfortable, and clean! Breakfast was great! Cathy makes a hot breakfast made to order. Such a wonderful place to stay and location is perfectly centered to many wonderful attractions (including Stirling Castle....not to be missed!) Our Hosts treated us like family! You won't be disappointed if you choose to stay here.

   I was very lucky to find this B&B on the Maps. Everything was super: the atmosfer of the house, the room, the garden, the breakfast. The house is very well situated. 15 minutes from Glasgow, 30 minutes from Stirling, 35 minutes from Edinburgh. Kathy and Sandy are very kind persons, they made me feel like in my travel home not like in a guest house. Also they gave me good advices for visiting this part of Scotland. Thank you once again for everything.

   We stayed for three nights recently during a visit from Canada. The hosts, Kathy and Sandy, are wonderful. They are lovely people who cannot do enough for you. The information they gave us on where to go and what to see was invaluable. We had a generous, cooked breakfast to set us up for each day, along with cereal and yogurt. Such good value overall. The rooms are spotlessly clean and served us well for our short stay. It would have been nice to have had access to a common room or lounge area. There were four of us in two rooms but the rooms were not big enough to accommodate us all for some social time. A small disappointment, but certainly not a major detriment. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and appreciated the service offered by our hosts. The pub next door (The Railway) is a good substitute for a get-together in the evening, and the people there are very friendly and welcoming. I have no hesitation in recommending Shawlee Cottage Bed and Breakfast.

   Fabulous, friendly bed and breakfast. Nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast is superb with cereals, full cooked Scottish breakfast, toast, jams, marmalade etc. or simple boiled or poached eggs. Rooms are clean, beautifully presented with tea and coffee facilities, TV, etc. We enjoyed 3 nights here and will be back again. Thank you, Sandy and Cathy for making us so welcome.

   Great wee stay whilst over for work. Very comfortable room with a great shower to wake you up in the morning. Cooked breakfast (or whatever else you would like), coffee/tea, and juice each morning before setting off. Sandy and Kathy are genuinely lovely people, couldn't do enough for you. Highly recommend.

   Highly recommend! Stay for 4 nights with friends - 3 rooms. Lovely place and lovely people! Very warm  welcome,  excellent accommodation, clean rooms and comfortable bed, freshly cooked and delicious breakfast, good location. Cathy and Sandy are very friendly and help us with useful information,  made some good recommendations of places to go and where to eat. The cottage has it's  own private parking at the rear.

   You could not ask for a warmer welcome than the one you get from Sandy and Cathy at the Shawlee Cottage Bed and Breakfast. The rooms are very clean and I had a great nights sleep every night. We had some great chat during breakfast as well. Cathy's breakfast is a great way to start the day and the wifi was brilliant for me skyping home in the evenings. Thoroughly recommend a stay there.
