“Over the last 4 weeks, I've been in this bar on a frequent basis and it certainly didn't disappoint. The customers are spot on, very friendly. But I must say, sometimes you meet people who totally lighten up your day. They are usually called Bar-Staff. I'll certainly be drinking in this bar again.”

“Had a sledging party for my daughters birthday at snow factor and then a party in Bar Varia they were extremely helpful and friendly staff and even gave us extra time to set up the table. They situated us right next to the play area which was an awesome idea. The food was excellent and the kids had an amazing time 10/10 thanks guys :)”

“Took my sons here before going to the airport. Ordered Biriyani lam in clay pot, chicken tikka and a tikka in spinach sauce. All dishes were perfect and particularly the garlic nan which was huge. Staff and manager were really nice. Can’t wait to visit again”

“First visit to the Maldron or the group and was impressed by the experience. Staff were all first class, communicative and industrious with a pleasant demeanour. Quality of finishings was excellent, very comfortable bed and very clean room and public areas. Breakfast selection was as expected, was regularly refreshed and plenty available. “The staff went above and beyond. Ross was our server and Zoe kindly dressed up as Santa for all of the kids. The kids received a present and had another staff member making balloon shapes for the kids.. the service was amazing as were the staff. Made us feel so comfortable”

“Had a lovely stay last night. Views of the Clyde from our room where phenomenal. Staff were the most friendliest, warm, welcoming and were so accomadating with bar staff helping us in from the car with our bags. Room was lovely, fresh and very clean. We had little bottles of water and tea's an coffee's in our room on arrival. It's the small touches that make it. Thank you for a lovely stay, and we can't wait to visit you again next year ☺.”

“The Tenpin venue has recently been refurbished and looks amazing! I go to play pool - the new tables are lovely, smaller American ones, no longer the lopsided ones with damaged cloth. It’s also not in a dark area of the venue, much lighter and brighter. There are now smaller metered tables you can play for £5-£7 an hour which is awesome! It’s a really massive improvement. You can order food from your table and there’s a good selection of alcohol free drinks. I had a blast and can’t wait to go again! As a haiku: Tenpin shines like new, Neon lights over pool tables Games, drinks, joy on cue.”
