Had a lovely stay last night. Views of the Clyde from our room where phenomenal. Staff were the most friendliest, warm, welcoming and were so accomadating with bar staff helping us in from the car with our bags. Room was lovely, fresh and very clean. We had little bottles of water and tea's an coffee's in our room on arrival. It's the small touches that make it. Thank you for a lovely stay, and we can't wait to visit you again next year ☺.

shocking service. With a party of 14 people. 3 of the party still never got their food after an hour waiting. Staff not interested. No excuses. Terrible. Won’t be back ever again! There was cross contamination with things being cooked in the same fryer with the chips this should never happen cause I have coeliac disease. I ended up with pieces of tempura batter among my chips. Not impressed at all.

First time back after the building was renovated and lots of work has gone into the building and making the pub more comfortable but unfortunately the customer service has gone out the window. Waited over an hour for food and they forgot one of the plates and was another 10 minutes before the final plate arrived. Food is still good quality but service needs to improve.

First time in since the new owners have taken over. The food was lovely, the service I can't fault in anyway. The selection of food and drinks was well thought of, something for everyone.

Lovely old place with open fires stone floors. This one gets 5 stars for hospitality only. The lads that run it made my experience a whole lot better. It's quite run down and in need of a revamp or maybe modernization. The people who run it really know how to take care of their guests though in my experience. It's cheap and cheerful and I would recommend it if you need a place to stay.
