   This is obviously a local pub for local people and although not unfriendly in any way, I didn't feel as comfortable as I did in another pub not too far away. I'm not overly religious or that into football but if your a Rangers fan you may not like it in here lol. I'm sure locals love this place but for me I'm not so sure. My hubby and I were staying in an Airbnb and wanted to sample the local nightlife, still glad I popped in though. :-)

   Great pub,the Guvnors Paul and Ruth made us feel so welcome,as did the regulars,none of whom we had ever met. It was hogmanay and my son was up visiting from England for the first time and said he had a fantastic night,as did l. Everyone seemed to know each other so it felt more like a house party and the drinks were reasonably priced as well. If you're ever in Glasgow,be sure to visit The Old Govan Arms (TOGA). It may not be as busy as when we visited but you will be met by a friendly and safe atmosphere to enjoy a drink or two. Highly reccomended.
