   We came in as a table of 8 and had an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. The food was tremendous — every single dish was full of flavour, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. Not one person at the table had anything but praise for their meal. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, perfect for a group, and the staff were brilliant — friendly, attentive, and made sure everyone was looked after without ever feeling rushed. It’s not easy to impress a big group, but they nailed it. Everyone left really happy, full, and already talking about coming back. An amazing local bar that truly delivers on food, service, and atmosphere. Highly recommended — we’ll definitely be returning!

   I love this pub. The food is just normal pub food but it was tasty. The service was really good and the lady was super nice. It's been a long time since I haven't been in the pub and really enjoyed coming back. I promise I'll return and hope the locals will go to. Places like this deserve to be open and to have more clients.

   First time eating at the Flying Scotsman in Renfrew, won't be the last. I had 3 small plates for £12.50, the portions sizes are so generous! My husband had the mushroom pie with peppercorn sauce, he loved it. We added on onion rings and the total bill with 2 soft drinks was £30, great value for money. The lady who served us was really welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend a visit here.

   One of the nicest and easiest experiences I could've hoped for for my partner's 24th. Came in from a rainstorm and got seen to immediately, server running the bar and sorting our food was incredibly helpful and regularly checked us all the time for our food. Chicken, lasagne, curry were all delicious and the desserts were great too. An incredibly chill atmosphere for a pub-like place, and our second time of going here. Will regularly come here again!
