“Decided to give this place a try and was not disappointed. The food was delicious. My satay beef was nice and tender with loads of flavour and everything else just tasted fresh and of a better quality than I've had elsewhere. One nice touch was that they poked holes in some of the containers to let the steam out so things like spring rolls and the salt n pepper chicken stayed lovely and crispy. The two people who delivered it were really nice and friendly too. Great food and service all round and we'll definitely be ordering from here again.”

“I had Bethany on my visit two days ago- she was an absolute dream. First time I've left a hairdressers happy with the outcome and getting exactly what I've asked for. She was friendly, professional and focused on detail so well. The salon had a lovely environment- and all was reasonably priced. I'm not local to Edinburgh but I'll definitely be back! “One of Edinburgh's best kept secrets! Situated on Edinburgh College's Milton Road campus, the delicious meals are cooked and served by students of the college. There may be a bit of a wait or occasional mix ups as the young people are mastering their hospitality journal but any misstep is more than made up for by the quality of the food, the local, seasonal ingredients and the happy atmosphere. A very economical way to experience really good food. The views are really nice too.”

ORDER THE SPATCHCOCK CHICKEN. It’s an underdog and better than the lamb - my partner and the waiter agree. Falls off the bone and is so flavourful. Bacon and spring onion mash is unmatched. Get it. “The owner greets you upon entering then will proceed to seat you and provide you with a menu. Soon after he will come back to take your drinks order. After drinks a different server came to take our food order. I had a pizza and it was absolutely delicious. I tried their special menu ravioli and it was amazing just like the pizza. The drinks were good and it was a bar so had alcohol. I also had a tiramisu which was a really good dessert. I would really recommend going to this Italian restaurant if you want Italian food.”

“My brother and I actually visited twice last week such was the quality of the food and service. I tempt fate about once a year and go for a vindaloo, it was superb. My brother had the mixed grill selection and all was beautifully cooked and flavoured. We had a starter selection in advance and all was tasty. A couple of Gurkha beers too just for research purposes! The 2 waiters were most friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend.”

“Absolutely outstanding meal at Bruntons restaurant , Stobbs Mill Inn! Emily, our waitress, was friendly, attentive, and made the afternoon extra special. The Peking Duck was perfectly cooked, the Bruschetta fresh and flavorful, and the prawn cocktail was a classic done right. We finished with a heavenly Eton Mess — light, sweet, and delicious. Five stars all round!”

“Yesterday we ate at another Italian restaurant that was OK so we where looking forward to eating at DaVinci's to see if we could get back on track. Nice 15 minutes stroll from The Royal Mile. Service was OK and the atmosphere was fantastic. The food was very good. I got a pesto type gnocchi and my partner got a traditional pasta with red sauce and seafood and also enjoyed the food. I would recommend DaVinci to anyone.”

“Both our dishes were very tasty but after living and working in Thailand, I expected this Thai restaurant to serve Pad Thai with wide flat rice noodles "sen lek" but they either cut them very thinly or they used spaghetti noodles, it was very hard to tell ? The Thai green curry was nicely presented but should have been served in 2 bowls, with more green curry sauce. As you would expect from a mainly Thai staffed restaurant, the staff and the service was perfect. Lovely seating areas with individual seating bays on the entry level, plus a few bays elevated up, giving a great dining experience. The restaurant decoration is very nicely done.”
