“Had an absolutely fantastic meal. Service was brilliant and the atmosphere was great. Definitely recommend”
“Visited for lunch and the food was fantastic. Massive portions and all very tasty. Staff were friendly and very helpful”
“Me and my partner went to the Blue Sky Lounge for our dinner after the stadium tour and had a lovely meal. Top points - Card only payments - Is Wheelchair Accessible We went on a Sunday and the carvery was on, the food was fantastic and staff were excellent. We had a clean booth with comfortable seats and strong tables overlooking the stunning Ibrox pitch. It was a starter, carvery and dessert for £37. The starters, a choice of pâté or lentil soup were served quickly and were absolutely delicious, at the carvery you can get 4 different kind of meats we had a bit of everything (Turkey, beef, chicken and pork), lots of different side dishes including massive Yorkshire puddings, mac n cheese, cauliflower cheese, roast and mashed potatoes, roasted veg and mixed veg, with an option of 4 desserts (Chocolate Mousse, Vanilla Cheesecake, Chocolate fudge cake and apple crumble. My partner and I were very happy with the food and really feel like we got our moneys worth. Would recommend to rangers supporters of any vintage and tourists who are in the area and looking for a great meal.”
“Lovely family run restaurant. Generous food portions. Kids meals were free and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. Service was quick and food was delicious. Thanks for a lovely evening!”
“Was meeting up with a group of friends we hadn't seen for a while. Drinks were amazing, food was amazing, staff were really lovely and friendly! Would really recommend this place. Can't wait to visit again!”
“Attended a Christmas do with friends here and the dining room they prepared for us was breathtaking. The food was very good, but service fairly slow. Each course took an hour to come out and the drinks were a bit inconsistent with the arrival times. We were a very large party though, so I appreciate this may not be the standard for them. One of our party weren't able to make it due to illness and I was able to get their meal packaged up so they wouldn't miss out. Unfortunately their dessert was not included in the food parcels (which has been paid for in advance as part of the course) but I still really appreciated that we got most of the order and that they gave it to me towards the end to ensure it didn't sit for too long. All in all, it was a wonderful experience and I'd recommend them for a function if you want to wow your guests.”
“Busy place on a Saturday lunchtime. Lunch menu is available with a decent selection. Staff are friendly and there was no rush to get the table back. We ended up with three courses along with a couple of bottles of red wine. Will certainly be back”
“Food was amazing and authentic, portions were also quite generous. The curry really hit home as I did not experience this anywhere else in the UK. The mango drink was also really good as it was not too sweet and had nice chunks of mango. The service was even better as I felt like I was back in MY with all the warm hospitality from the staff. So glad to see that there is such a place to make you feel a home away from home.”
“Tried the butter chicken today with peshwari naan and it was splendid, the sauce tasted fantastic, full of flavor and the naan was soft and hot! Will be back again to try the rest!”
“The food was great the staff were friendly the restaurant was cosy nice views a good experience.”
“Was looking for a nice restaurant for my mums birthday and we stumbled upon this place. The service was amazing, the staff even helped us with a tiramisu and candle to celebrate. The charcuterie was to die for and the food we had was delicious. You can tell they use fresh produce and know how to treat it well. If you’re looking for a nice dinner or even a cocktail and nibbles I would highly recommend.”
“A lovely, dog friendly restaurant with a varied menu to suit many tastes. The house wine was lovely as were the meals. We dined very early, so it was fairly quiet and we were lucky to get so much attention from the staff .... especially our dog who was made a real fuss of. The food was well cooked and just what we expected with good portions. My wife's vegetarian meal looked wonderful and she said it tasted really good. We would certainly go there again.”
“I personally love the place. Good atmosphere and people who go there are pleasant. Food quality is pretty good, especially for Glasgow standards. Only downside for me is a few members of the staff who I don’t find fitting. But overall I am satisfied with my visits all the time. Do not recommend beef tartare, it’s lacking in flavor and serving. Love vote for quick lunch.”
“Great for big groups or intimate dining. Extensive menu for all tastes as well as vegan veggie gluten free. Staff extremely efficient. Orders spot on and attentive to empty glasses and water jugs. There was a birthday party and a baby shower but discrete areas prevented disruption to private dining. Great private parking. Give registration to restaurant on arrival”
“My boyfriend and I had a lovely lunch this February. The service was excellent, friendly and attentive to your needs. Lots of information given about menu items and portion sizes. My boyfriend had the seafood soup which he loved and the battered prawns which were excellent. I went for the seafood stew which was also very tasty. The portion sizes were reasonable. I particularly like the fact that it is all fresh seafood not frozen. Because I love fresh seafood I would definitely go back. I thought the prices were on the high side but as I love fresh lobster, prawns and clams, I think it is worth a treat from time to time. Love that it's dog friendly. Our overall experience was fantastic and I would recommend this gastro pub .”
“NO complaints from us. We ignored recommendations for other restaurants in Merchant City and were very glad we did. Fantastic, honest, high quality fayre. HUGE portion sizes. Not pretentious and doesn't have to be....does exactly what the owners promised. I went traditional Turkey, the wife had Chicken and Haggis Pie. Starters Cullenskink soup and Prawn n smoke Salmon (Marie Rose sauce was best she's ever tasted) The pie would have fed 2 (and did, I helped myself to a couple of healthy portions!)”
“Wonderful food from a varied and interesting menu, excellent, friendly service and comfortable seating. Not a sea view, as such, which was a little surprising, given its shoreline location, but everything else more than made up for that.”
“Brilliant menu selection and the food was superb, highly recommend the starters! Staff were friendly, courteous and very helpful. Will definitely be back!”
“A 10 minute drive from my house and I never even realised this place was here. The bar and restaurant were lovely inside, the staff were very polite and attentive and the food was excellent. Will definitely be back.”
“We ended up here by chance after previous dinner plans fell through. Super easy to get to as within only a few minutes walking distance from Charring Cross, and across the road from The King's Theatre. The staff were friendly and welcoming and we were seated quickly (we didn't have a booking although we were early enough to skip the rush that came later as we were leaving, I'd definitely suggest booking!). The food was delicious. Lots of choice on the menu, and the Minestrone Soup was beautiful. If I was asked to critique something, and this is really just being pernickety and didn't pose much of an issue - the tables are a little bit of a squeeze for space if you're having a pizza. But that's being really nitpicky, as otherwise the booth was comfortable and even busy, the place didn't feel cramped.”
“Fantastic food, lovely local restaurant. Neelim has been around for years and there is a reason for that. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Food was delicious. We were a party of 11 with different requests, dietary requirements and an allergy issue. Neelim were so helpful and made our meal into a lovely evening. Thank you so much. Highly recommended.”
“First visit to Royal Garden, Bishopbriggs The food was outstanding and plenty of it The staff were so pleasant and very helpful Empty tables were cleared and cleaned in no time We usually drive to the Princess Rose in Balloch, but this restaurant will be our new go to place The drinks are very reasonably priced as well We will most certainly be back soon”
“Dropped in on a busy Sunday lunchtime, we hadn't booked but they managed to fit us in with no bother, Brodies was recommended and didn't disappoint, the hash browns are off the Scale!!! Yeah think they're the best I've had, toastie had loads of filling. Great place to chill and watch the world go by, Back on 8th Oct, we had the Burgers that were excellent, really quiet and chilled place on a Tuesday night. Special offer on German Beers for October fest, Starburger £3 a pint”
“We visited Hot World Cuisine in Glasgow on a Sunday evening and were not disappointed! Our family are big fans of Indian cuisine, and this definitely met everyone’s expectations, from the youngest to the oldest. There was a wide range of Indian dishes alongside European options, with Sunday’s special focus being a traditional Sunday Roast. The dessert selection was amazing, one of the best we’ve seen at a buffet. With a brilliant variety and three different chocolate fountains! The staff were attentive, and the entire place was spotless. Well done to the management and team! Also, if you have an upcoming birthday your meal is on the house as long as you book in advance and can prove it - great concept.”
“Whether it is Sunday Dim Sum for lunch or dinner this remains the best Chinese restaurant in Glasgow by far. The menu has new innovative additions which is well worth trying and prices remain reasonable. Do expect the final bill to be on par with the likes of Wagamama for a family of 4 ordering a few starter/mains. Overall, still very good value for money.”
“Best pizzas plenty topping and kebabs absolutely brilliant”
“Lovely stay at ABode with my family for my graduation. Great location, excellent service and super comfy beds! The breakfast was absolutely delicious and better than any breakfast I have experienced at a hotel.”
“Move to Scotland in 2012, from Newcastle,. Taking me 13 years To eventually taste one of the best kebabs I’ve had in Scotland.! As I was eating it, visions of the 80s came to mind, a period when Donor kebabs We’re still handmade and tasted delicious. Unfortunately, having to move back to St Andrews shortly, but I swear I will be back a minimum of two or three times a month just for the kebab!!”
“The view is just spectacular! If you want to see Glasgow from above, this is a good spot for it! The restaurant has two small terraces where you can sit outside and have a drink. Inside it is very cozy and I liked the atmosphere. Also the staff was very friendly and very attentive, asking several times if we wanted anything else. The food was coming fast, was very nice arranged and totally yummy. Alltogether a really pleasant experience!”
“Was through in Glasgow for a concert , pop in for something to eat , ordered salt and chilli chicken with fried rice and red tai king prawns, very tasty, service was excellent.”
