   Attended a Christmas do with friends here and the dining room they prepared for us was breathtaking. The food was very good, but service fairly slow. Each course took an hour to come out and the drinks were a bit inconsistent with the arrival times. We were a very large party though, so I appreciate this may not be the standard for them. One of our party weren't able to make it due to illness and I was able to get their meal packaged up so they wouldn't miss out. Unfortunately their dessert was not included in the food parcels (which has been paid for in advance as part of the course) but I still really appreciated that we got most of the order and that they gave it to me towards the end to ensure it didn't sit for too long. All in all, it was a wonderful experience and I'd recommend them for a function if you want to wow your guests.

   Amazing and the most delicious food and wine. There was seven of us and everyone absolutely loved every course they had. Excellent service from Vasu (and others.) Vasu was so professional, friendly and fun. Lovely Christmas atmosphere. We had a fabulous time.

   We had an absolutely wonderful evening at The Bothy. The atmosphere was warm, relaxed, and authentically Scottish, perfect for a cozy dinner. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavour, from the starters to the desserts. A special mention goes to Vasu, our waitress, who truly made the night exceptional. Thank you!

   Great "hidden" gem close to the University of Glasgow and Botanical Gardens. It has a little rustic atmosphere but the food and service is nothing short of amazing. I sat in a table close to the windows and that wasn't the cleanest place I ever had a meal but it was not off putting - I am just being ultra picky with the evaluation. I would certainly come back.

   Went there for our anniversary. First nice Scottish restaurant we have been to since moving here in June. The food was good, the service could have been a bit better and attentive . Overall a great experience, may be slightly on the expensive side with around £40 for the steak . Worth a visit for special occasion.

   Very authentic, great atmosphere, amazing staffs 10 out of 10!! We only ordered small plates that day but loved every bite. Food was nicely presented and staff were very much helpful. Highly recommended if you are looking for a nice scottish restaurant.

   Amazing! The food was delicious, aswell were the drinks. The whole ambiance of this restaurant really makes it amazing. It feels very homey and warm. I sat here for almost 3 hours and it did not feel like it. I would highly recommend coming here!

   Great dinning experience! It was my first time at Bothy and I will definitely be back. My favourite starter was salmon and crab but wood pigeon was also very interesting. I loved the ox cheek main, one of the best I had in Scotland. The staff is very professional and friendly too. A minor thing we didn't like was that the 12% service charge wasn't optional and wasn't communicated either until we got the bill. The service was great and we'd leave tips anyway but it'd be great if we had the option to choose.

   Gorgeous decor, roast lunch was a bit cold and small for the price, no crackling or apple sauce with the pork. Haggis, neeps & tatties was delicious. Good alcohol free cocktails if you ask for them.
