   We received such a warm and friendly welcome at The Chestnut Hotel Restaurant. Being seated right by the fire was absolutely lush and made the whole experience feel cosy and relaxed. Our drinks were taken quickly, and we never felt like we were waiting around. The mains were stunning – so tasty and beautifully presented. You can really tell care goes into every dish. We would definitely go back, and we’d recommend it to absolutely everyone!

   We love staying at the Chestnuts and return every year. Our favourite room is huge and has a very large and comfy bed. The owner and staff are welcoming and genuinely interested in creating a great experience. The restaurant and bar are warm and friendly and weve enjoyed every meal. I could happily retire to the Chestnuts and stay all year.

   Had an absolutely delicious lunch here today with my husband! Our server June was just so very lovely. She was attentive and friendly, nothing was too much for her and she really made our visit wonderful! The food was super tasty and really reasonably priced for the quality and size of the portions.    Just had a second long awaited visit to this restaurant and it was every bit as good as the first. Warmly welcomed by staff to the Restaurant. Given an extensive menu to choose from which took us a while to work through we had so many options that appealed. Menu available on line and they also have a vegan one. Food was beautifully cooked for everyone of our choices. We learned last time that the cheese board is huge for one so chose to share one and had a lovely choice of crackers, cheese and accompaniments. Roll on visit no 3.
