“The best Indian in the shire! Food was delicious, wine was perfect, the atmosphere is just perfect. This is the best Indian around. The staff are so lovely and nothing is a problem at all. Highly recommend!”

“Just had a meal with the family! Great service. Everyone who served us was smiling. It was a prompt service. The starters of veg samosa and vegetable pakoras were delicious! Aloo gobi, bhuna and the malai tikka were absolutely brilliant! Very quick service! Overall it was a great evening! Give it a go; you’ll not be disappointed I think!”

“Looking for authentic Indian food? Then Saffron is a must-try! Nestled in a charming little village, the drive is absolutely worth it. Their lamb chops are perfectly cooked and sooo flavorful! And the prawn curry paired with garlic and coriander naan is truly exceptional. A delightful culinary experience!”

“Great food and service by the team at Akbar’s. Went there for the Onam Sadhya. Was very authentic, would definitely come back to try the rest of the menu.”
“Went for an evening meal. The onion pakora was so so. Samosa was good. Naan was large and rotis were fine too. The curries were perfectly tailored to my less spicy request. Great flavour. Good North Indian food!”
“Tried the butter chicken today with peshwari naan and it was splendid, the sauce tasted fantastic, full of flavor and the naan was soft and hot! Will be back again to try the rest!”
“If you're looking for a dish that truly captures the essence of rich Indian cuisine, biryani is a must-try—and this one does not disappoint. From the moment the lid was lifted, the fragrant aroma of saffron, cardamom, and slow-cooked basmati rice filled the air, promising a meal worth remembering. The rice was perfectly fluffy, each grain separate and infused with deep, layered spices. The meat—tender, juicy, and well-marinated—fell apart effortlessly, having absorbed all the flavors from the long, slow cooking process. The balance of heat and warmth from the spices was spot on, neither overpowering nor bland. A side of raita added a cooling contrast that rounded out the meal beautifully. What sets this biryani apart is the attention to detail—the freshness of the herbs, the perfect texture of the rice, and the harmonious blend of spices. It's a true celebration of tradition and taste. Highly recommended for any biryani lover or anyone looking to experience an authentic and satisfying meal. Chef Mithun has worked his magic — a symphony of flavors, passion on a plate, and pure culinary brilliance!”
“I had the pleasure of visiting this traditional Indian restaurant last week as I was up in Glasgow and I’m so glad that we did. This is a cost, quaint and comfortable spot with a vast menu. We arrived quite late (close to closing time) and the friendly, warm and receptive staff smiled and took our order. I ordered a Vegetarian Jalandhari and a Tandoori Roti (with no butter) and it was delicious. It was made fresh, flavourful and full of aromatic spices. The chef really outdid himself with this one. I’m used to soya dishes and tofu dishes however it made a change having a vegan friendly curry made of vegetables. The portion was generous and the taste was delicious. I will certainly be back for more when I’m next up. 10/10.”

“The service was truly breathtaking. I have yet to experience a restaurant with such good quality as Tandoori’s Choice in Glasgow. Was there on a holiday but I am now thinking to fly back from The Netherlands for their great food. Truly worth it”
“A return visit for our family and delighted to introduce my parents to this restaurant. They loved it as much as we do, and are already planning their next visit. The food was amazing as usual, the service was fantastic as usual, and the server and kitchen were extremely accommodating in relation to a couple of bespoke requests we made. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough and 5 stars honestly seems inadequate! Thanks again guys ”
“I've stayed in Glasgow for a few days. I discovered this restaurant on my first night. Loved it, so I went every night after. Food it's amazing and service too. I will come back 100% when I'm back in Glasgow.”
“Today i wanted some food to eat on the way home, i got the chicken Jalandhri to take away I requested extra chillies, and they were quite accomodating. I also requested a bit more salt on my food, as i have a medical need for it, and so they obliged By filling an entire dip tub with salt and including it in my bag! They took no chances with dissatisfaction I could not have asked for more, and i ended up devouring the entire thing on the way home, it was lovely, rich, and full of coriander, my favourite herb! Service was surprisingly quick, i did wait inside the restaurant while it was being prepared, it seemed a very cosy and intimate place, quiet and comfy, dark and moody lighting, it felt quite romantic i'm very pleased overall!”
“Fabulous food, easy to order online, speedy delivery and great value for money. Delicious. Best Indian takeaway we've had in this area. Now our no1 "go to" for sure. Lovely deliver man too. So polite.”
“From the moment we stepped in, the owner was incredibly welcoming and helpful re: food allergies and questions. The food was INCREDIBLE! My friend and I did the prix fixe menu for 2 and got papadam, veggie samosas, chicken pakora, chicken tikka masala, dal makhani, garlic naan, and pilau rice. Absolutely delicious, more than enough for 2, took some leftovers home, and only £36. Best experience we could’ve asked for.”
