“Had a portion of vegetable pakora at lunchtime. I haven't been here in years since I moved away from the area. I always loved the pakora in here and the kebab sauce over the pakora yoghurt. It tasted the same as how it did years before I moved. Still delicious to this day. Might have to get a pizza to reminisce about how good they were.”
“Best pizzas plenty topping and kebabs absolutely brilliant”
“Food was delicious and the portions are great I’d highly recommend”
“Very nice ambience. Great staff, service and food. Been there about 10 times now and it never disappoints.”
“Excellent. Great service and we really enjoyed the food. It's a busy place best to book especially at the weekend. We also thought that it was good value for money too. Definitely worth a visit.”
“We ordered food to be delivered for a buffet for around a 100 people and can honestly say we all loved the food and there was plenty for everyone. The delivery guys were fantastic too. Thank you will definitely recommend you to friends.”
“Everything was so good here I ordered a curry pizza with chips and cheese and a can of irn bru I got my food within 15 minutes the price was dead cheap and you really enjoyed the food would definitely recommend”
“I found this place on social media... I'm telling you all now... this is 100% restaurant quality... you can tell with every single bite... I should've taken pictures of my meal as looked like a picture from the menu. Lovely staff and welcoming... especially to 1st timers like us... I travelled 30 mins to get there and have no regrets... I went for a sweet chicken tikka...I've never tried anything quite like it... There are thousands of Indian takeaways but this place seems to stand out from the crowd. I'm DEFINITELY going back for more”
“Move to Scotland in 2012, from Newcastle,. Taking me 13 years To eventually taste one of the best kebabs I’ve had in Scotland.! As I was eating it, visions of the 80s came to mind, a period when Donor kebabs We’re still handmade and tasted delicious. Unfortunately, having to move back to St Andrews shortly, but I swear I will be back a minimum of two or three times a month just for the kebab!!”
“I have had many Munchy boxes from this shop over the years but this one today has been the best ever, all Pakoras, Donner meat and Onion rings are the spiciest I have ever had and this combined with a quick home delivery with the food really hot what's not to like, well done to everyone.”
“Had a brilliant meal here with my partner. We arrived a little early so took our drinks to the beer garden. The place is lovely inside with a very good atmosphere. Menu is Indian and a European choice. Was very difficult to chose because the selections were great. I had prawn cocktail and steak pie and my partner had chicken pakora and korma. Portion size was great. Staff were lovely and very friendly. Service was quick and at £14.95 for a 2 course meal it was great value for money. We will definitely go back. No problem with parking as there were lots of spaces.”
“Great food, friendly staff and super location. Nothing not to like. I would really recommend a visit.”
“Chicken donner kebab is amazing”
“I stay near to this. I tried Chicken biryani, channa Dal, palak paneer, Dal, chicken karayi, lamb karayi, chappli Kaba they are very nice.”
“My only go too pizza takeaway. Cooked to my request, usually burnt...simply perfect for me. I highly recommend this lot. If you have a particular requirement give them a call as they are very accommodating. A real pleasure to order from here.”
“Really love this place everything I've had from here has been great from Currys to kebabs and their mixed pakora is the best I've tasted and delivery is always quick”
“Great Chinese recommend one of my favourites”
“Kebab meat is the best I’ve ever tried great food and lovely staff, fast deliveries, good chips could go on forever. Guy at the front with the combed backed hair is a pure gentlemen and good guy. Must visit best in Scotland”
“I’ve just enjoyed my second meal from Jaipur, and I must say the experience was every bit as impressive as the first. The food arrived promptly, well-packaged, and still piping hot on delivery. The chicken was cooked to perfection—beautifully tender, full of flavour, and clearly prepared with care. Portion sizes are generous, offering excellent value without compromising on quality. Overall, Jaipur continues to deliver both in terms of taste and service. Consistency like this is rare, and it makes them stand out as a top choice for dining in the area.”
“Oldest Indian restaurant in Bishopbriggs and delivers the best quality of food. Don't be put off with no alcohol, the zero Guinness and Heineken are a great pairing with any curry.”
“Generations of my family have been eating from zicos for almost 40 years, currys and pizzas are great, the donner kebab is the best in glasgow, the kebab sauce is magic”
“On Wednesday evening 22nd January four of us visited The New Gulistan Indian Restaurant in Kilsyth and we all agreed the cuisine was excellent and the staff couldn’t be more helpful. In my last visit under the old owners my trip advisor review was bad but what a transformation not only in the quality of food but also in the restaurant decor I will certainly be using this restaurant frequently.”
“I ordered the Set Meal 1 with South Indian garlic chicken for take away, and thought it was amazing. 6 pieces of pakora with a dip, spicy onions, rice, curry, 2 gigantic poppadams. Curry was delicious, with super fresh cilantro and green chillies. Mmmmmmm can't wait to go again.”
“I don't understand the negative reviews. The food was great. We were skeptical to try seeing 3.9 stars in the reviews. thought to give it a try. But the food was delicious. We ordered chicken Tikka, buttered rotis, naan bread and a sultan special - hot - chicken Tikka tandoori masala. Rotis were so big (around 10 inches). Naan was also big in size. The gravy and starter were delicious. I have seen indian restaurants in UK use gravy sauces only and it would be blant with no flavour. This one stood different. It was flavourful. Will be back to try soon.”
“Hands down the best calzone ive ever had. I can only assume the rest of the food is to the same quality. Top marks”
“I have ordered from this place 3 times now on JustEats and its been a great deal every single time. I usually order the butter chicken with their standard rice and a chicken korma half/half and it really hits the spot. Usually comes out to around £15 not including delivery, but I get about 2/3 meals out of it. I wish the rice had a bit more flavour but with the price and quantity it's not really an issue.”
“Tried this place tonight partner collected I ordered calzone deal and garlic mushrooms. The food was absolutely amazing Highly recommend it.”
