“Outstanding experience dining in this amazing Indian restaurant. We opted for Ajay Kumar's 5-course tasting menu it was truly the best Indian food we've had. The flavours, textures and presentation was exceptional along with the paired wines has left us with great memories so much so we're returning in June to try his Sunday lamb roast. “My wife and I discovered Obsession of India (25 High Street, Glasgow) in the weeks leading up to our wedding, and we ended up going three times with both of our families because it was that good. The food is incredible, the flavours are always perfect, and the service is genuinely outstanding. The wait staff even handled our visiting Americans with total patience and humour — they were absolutely brilliant about it. We loved it so much we even ordered from here on our wedding night. Absolutely sensational every single time. Highly recommended! Cheese Naan is to die for - and I nearly did due to lactose intolerance but it was worth it.”

“I’m a big curry lover, and I drive from Hamilton to here to get a curry! It’s that good! That Thali was wonderful, and the Chasni sauce is fabulous. And the chef made me Lassi, even though it isn’t on the menu! My partner got the sea bass, said it was the best ever, and generous portions, can’t recommend this friendly eatery enough. Did I mention that the prices are very reasonable? You won’t be disappointed!”

“We came here to celebrate a birthday and the food was fabulous! We got some chicken dumplings and 4 dips as a starter which was really good! I got chicken chow mein and garlic naan while my boyfriend and his brother got butter chicken. Butter chicken was really nice and it wasn’t too spicy! There was plenty of chicken and the right amount of sauce.”

“A great place for indian food in Glasgow. Food that tastes indian for a change unlike the other restaurants in Glasgow. Very reasonably priced, great staff and prompt service. Apart from the chicken and paneer items, we tried the jackfruit curry first time outside india and it was excellent. Not seen this dish in any restaurant in Glasgow. Special mention for the butter nan. The quality if the nan was excellent. Better than any Glasgow restaurant.”

“Best takeaway in clydebank, omar and bubba are amazing and so friendly , my brother introduced me to pirez and I'm hooked , food is fresh and well cooked , the lamb karahi and rogan josh are so tasty, big portions that takes me 2 days to get through , omar certainly knows how to cook , bubba takes pride front of house and boy can that man make a delicious pizza and kebabs he is in for a personal challenge of mine , to cook me my karahi or rogan josh , love love love and highly recommended takeaway, if you want amazing food go to pirez”

They were quick to take our order, and the food arrived very promptly. The flavors were absolutely amazing—some of the best Indian dishes we've ever had in Scotland! The staff went above and beyond in terms of hospitality. We needed to charge our mobile during our meal, and they were more than happy to help us out. They were also great with our kids, chatting with them and making our whole family feel comfortable and relaxed. So friendly and welcoming.I can never understand,anyone working in a restaurant,who does not want to have friendly interaction with clientele.It encourages customers to return and makes your time at work more enjoyable⁸ and interesting. No problems with that in this restaurant.Food is a joy, excellent quality dishes, well presented.I have always thought presentation is the first thing that catches the eye of the diner. Secondly comes flavour.Does it taste like it should?⁹At Turban it certainly does.Tonight we had a two course feast (portions are ample) with poppadums and really tasty Paratha.We drank only water, which all came in at a modest £42 for two.I thoroughly recommend this restaurant for any occasion.Advance bookings are preferable,though staff will do their utmost to accommodate walk in customers as we were this evening.Thank you Turban for a most enjoyable culinary experience.”

“Went there for a quick bite. Had the chilly paneer and masala tea. To be honest the taste was good and the paneer pieces were way too hard and i would say not enough veggies on the plate. Expected atleast 2-3 more pieces of onions and capsicums. The only thing that stole the show was masala tea. Genuinely if it wasn’t for that i would have left very disappointed. Next time will try something else but otherwise cute little place with good food nevertheless. Tea is 10 star.”
