I had a simply outstanding take away from here tonight. I had the set meal for 1, with a starter portion of momos and a Nepalese chicken starter. All were absolutely phenomenal. One of the main noticeable differences when comparing here with other Indian/Nepali/Pakistani eateries is the lack of oil in all of the dishes. Even the naan bread which can sometimes be quite oily - was absolutely lovely. I had the butter chicken and asked to make it extra spicy which was a touch of gold. All in all, I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Magnificent food, not overly greasy, good portions. The whole order was ready in 15 mins and the staff were pleasant. I would highly recommend this establishment A1

Sheffield On Record ★★★☆☆
Ordered from here after searching online for recommendations of great Indian food on the Southside (yes, this is Nepali, but came up quite a lot of times in the threads I found). It was a mixed bag. Delivered earlier than expected (bonus points, especially on a Friday evening) by a friendly delivery driver. But I'd ordered from here specifically because they did a paneer tikka masala, which is what I was craving. The curry I was sent was not a paneer tikka masala - it was more like a bhuna, something along those lines. Not in the least bit creamy, large chunks of almost raw onions and peppers. Literally a completely different dish. The paneer itself was decent, and really had the flavour of the tandoor. But if you're not going to send what someone orders, it's better not to accept the order at all. The garlic and coriander naan was very tasty, but greasy in the extreme. The onion bhajis were also incredibly greasy - more than I've ever known from any previous takeaway food. They went left uneaten. Although the food I did receive wasn't terrible, considering it was half the price again of the takeaway where I regularly order the same items in Sheffield, and I didn't actually get what I had ordered, it *really* felt extremely overpriced. Just shy of £24 for the 3 items described - bhajis, bread, one curry. Overall, therefore, disappointing. The search continues.

Lovely wee place this, casual dining doing a range of classic dishes and hearty Nepalese cuisine that I’d not experienced before. Was nostalgic and reminded me of many places I went to growing up. Decor was relaxed and clean, staff were attentive and very friendly and the menu was easy to navigate and full of delicious dishes back to front. Could not fault the food at all, mixed pakora was excellent, crispy batter with fresh ingredients delivered with some banging sauces. Homemade pakora sauce and brilliant Rita with the lamb. Poppadoms and dipping sauces is always a class way to start a meal too. Think the star of the show here is without a doubt the curries. Wow. I got a Nepalese Gosht and my goodness just packed with flavour. Big serving too meaning I went from starving to stuffed in a matter of minutes, couldn’t help myself from wolfing the whole thing down. For a classic Indian / Nepalese meal I would highly recommend this place. It isn’t a super fancy new age tiny small plates posh joint, it’s a down to earth family friendly homely establishment serving hearty food at a great price. Staff and everyone around us had a smile on their face, food was served in minutes and their service for a man in a wheelchair was nothing but top shelf. My only complaint is the place should be bigger so more people can enjoy it :) Really lovely meal, thanks so much.

We came here to celebrate a birthday and the food was fabulous! We got some chicken dumplings and 4 dips as a starter which was really good! I got chicken chow mein and garlic naan while my boyfriend and his brother got butter chicken. Butter chicken was really nice and it wasn’t too spicy! There was plenty of chicken and the right amount of sauce.

Many places claim to have authentic Indian dishes but sadly it's always disappointment. However this place surprised me! There recipes were truly authentic especially the Indo-Chinese fusion dishes. Coming from Kolkata where Indo-Chinese fusion is always special, I have to say after many years in UK I got those flavours at this place. Make sure you ask for desi level flavours and spices to get the most!

Only ever had takeaway, but I believe this is the best curry in Glasgow. Incredibly delicious dishes, all unique and flavoursome.

Wether its sit in or take out this is one of the best places to get a curry in Glasgow! The food and service is always top drawer and I can recommend the sharing platter to start (you wont regret it). Nice and relaxed atmosphere with a wee bit of pan pipes playing in the background. They also have Everest beer which is worth a try.

Really great restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious. Much better than places in Brick Lane London. Very reasonable pricing and large portions. Reasonable seating area and staff were friendly and on top of things. Would highly recommend!

The food tastes amazing. We had lamb chops and monk fish. It might not look enough but it is super filling. Great level of service, and the place was full on a Sunday evening. Only downside is the sits next to the toilets are just a no no!

Photos don't do the food justice. Great tasting food, everything was cooked really well and was tempted to go to the following evening. I am just round the corner so I will definitely be back. Lamb chops had a tasty marinade while the saag paneer hit all the spots. I have been told to try the chicken lollipops next time. Staff were friendly and attentive and social distancing well maintained. Look forward to my next visit!
