Booked a table with my friends on Friday, ordered from the Festive menu. The chicken tika makhni was amazing! The festive menu was such a bargain. Absolutely delighted and will be back.
First time in this restaurant trying the small plates tapas the food was delicious, the menu offers amazing vegan options, and a warm, welcoming place. Fantastic food highly recommend it
We shared AMAZING curry here, it's small plates so you all get to try a wonderful range. But they're deceptively big, so plenty to go around! We had a wonderful waiter Prem who was so kind and attentive. Would recommend to anyone and will be back ASAP for more curry!!
Great value for money in the meal for 2, £35 and portions are massive. Butter chicken and garlic chilli chicken both great. The garlic nan could be better it lacked flavour I have had on other nans. The nan is quite thin and firm, unlike other nans. Everything else was amazing though so still 5 stars.
Sometimes in life things just fall into place and work out for the best. I have been here twice with my partner, both times because one of our favourite Indian restaurants, Chakoo in Glasgow was full or closed and we were in the mood for small Indian dishes. This was close by to where we already were so we walked down Byers road on the off chance we could get a table. The first thing you notice which sets the scene is the jars of lentils and spices in the windows which make the place look fresh and appealing and its nice and small inside with tables upstairs, a really intimate setting. The first time we were here we had a variety of dishes, the highlight probably being the tikka haddock starter which was beautiful and not something that we had ever seen offered in an Indian before although that is not a criticism at the rest of the meals which were all equally delicious. I had the garlic chili chicken curry which was packed full of nice flavours and had actual full garlic cloves in the sauce for you to crunch on, I enjoyed it so much I had it both times we visited. My partner had the Aloo Saag the first time which she really enjoyed and tried the Vegetable Sabzi the second time with both being given the thumbs up for taste, quality and freshness. The restaurant is in the process of expanding next door to make it bigger which is a good sign as more and more people deserve to try this amazing restaurant. Prices are your standard £7-£8 per dish with rice being an extra £3-4. Like a lot of these tapas places you are recommended to order a few dishes but we always find with starters, naans etc you really only need one curry and you can always order more later if needed.
Best place in Glasgow for a curry. Small plates like tapas. 3 plates between 2 with rice and bread is recommended. The staff are great and explain everything really well. It's an institution in the weste end
Lovely small eaterie and it really is small. A kind of Indian tapas affair with slightly bigger portions. We were advised to order two items each and that, indeed, was just right. Lovely food and I had a superb ice cream - really silly smooth - delicious. Probably a bit dearer than some other places, but worth it.
Very helpful, friendly staff and excellent food. Good location. The place is tiny, as you'd expect from the name, so booking advisable but we managed a table of 8 on a rainy Saturday evening.
Working in a classy restaurant in Glasgow, on a Monday we order a curry after service, Jas and his team are the best, my only gripe is he won't tell me any recipes or spice mixes, best pakora on the planet, sometimes on a Friday we might get a table and its always a good buzz.
This place has reopened with a bang! Serving up small dishes of delicious authentic Indian food. Lovely refurb and excellent service. We loved all the curries we tried, the lemon rice, the pani puri and the mango lassi! Excited to have this lovely Indian restaurant in the west end
