Best lamb boonah by far. Tender and tasty and plenty of it. Popadoms fresh and crisp. All of our dishes were delicious. Highly recommend.
I've been visiting Classic Indian for a few years now. Any time I'm down this way to teach 1st aid I pop in for a meal. I've never been disappointed in the food or the service, both have been of a consistently high standard. There's been a long time since my last visit and I was treated like a long lost friend when I called in today.
We’ve been getting our curry from Classic India for a couple of years and have never once been disappointed! Have tried the other curry restaurants in the Milngavie/Bearsden area and they are still our number one! Food always tastes amazing, portion sizes are decent and prices are reasonable! The 1 or 2 person meals deals are a bargain - so much food!
Today i wanted some food to eat on the way home, i got the chicken Jalandhri to take away I requested extra chillies, and they were quite accomodating. I also requested a bit more salt on my food, as i have a medical need for it, and so they obliged By filling an entire dip tub with salt and including it in my bag! They took no chances with dissatisfaction I could not have asked for more, and i ended up devouring the entire thing on the way home, it was lovely, rich, and full of coriander, my favourite herb! Service was surprisingly quick, i did wait inside the restaurant while it was being prepared, it seemed a very cosy and intimate place, quiet and comfy, dark and moody lighting, it felt quite romantic i'm very pleased overall!
The food here wasn't very nice. It tasted like packet food. Didn't seem to be anything fresh. Also the menu is lacking a little bit. Our naan was really soggy. Waiter found it difficult to understand English.
People who knows me knows I'm a observer. Went upstairs to this restaurant and lil kitchen door was opened so I peaked through and can't tell you all, that even the kitchen was so neat and cleaned . It looked so very much hygienic like home kitchen and that's the reason the food was so fresh from a fresh kitchen. Fantastic restaurant and a lovely lovely staff. Service was very quick and we had a wonderful meal in a peaceful soothing atmosphere. Loved all the decor too. Thanks for the beautiful service. Highly highly recommend CLASSIC INDIA for pure authentic Indian food.

Sad to say but it was one of the worst curry dishes i have had. Ordered the south indian (chicken) garlic chilli, as this was recommended as one of their hot dishes. I ask if i could have it extra hot, which they said was no problem. The aroma coming from the bag once i left the premises, was amazing, but when i took the lid off the chicken carton, i was greeted by a dish that could only be described as Coloured water. It was that watery, i could not pour it onto my plate, so had to eat it from the carton. It was NOT hot, and as for making it extra hot for me, well all i got, was ONE chilli pepper!! This was one evening meal that was a waste of money, and it wasnt reasonably priced either.
Fast, friendly service with great presentation Some of the best Indian I've had in Glasgow, with generous servings and cheap prices to boot. Garlic naan was fluffy, flavourful, and perfectly done. Chicken Jalandhri was beautifully spiced, juicy, and filling. Absolutely recommend. You'll have to excuse the mid-meal picture. I couldn't stop myself once they put the food in front of me.
Oh wow, we had a fantastic dinner here before heading off on the West Highland Way the next day. Loved it! Great vegetarian options. Highly recommended :)
