“Firdt time trying here. Soon as we entered the place looked cosy staff were fast and polite seated us right away and asked if we would like drinks. They came with a small bowl of orawn crackers for free. We ordered from the set lunch menu my wife order chicken wings for starter and beef and asparagus for the main i had chicken noodle soup and katsu chicken curry. My wife loved the wings and enjoyed her main i tried the wings they were tasty and the beef from her main was soft and tasty. My chicken noodle soup was probably best chicken noodle soup i ever had and the katsu curry was tasy and chicken was nice crispy and juicy. Rice was normal fried rice nothing special in my opinion. Everything came fresh and hot!!! Also ordered a side of salt and chilli fries they were excellent one negative thoo i prefer thicker chips but tasted great.”

“Delicious and authentic Hong Kong/Canton style food. We tried the stir-fried Singaporean rice vermicelli and stir-fried beef ho-fun noodles. Great WOK-HAY! The way even Uncle Roger would approve of. We also shared the salt'n'chilli wings; crispy, savoury with a kick just as you would want it. 好味！”

We felt at home straight away — thanks to the kind and genuinely attentive staff, who go out of their way to make each guest feel relaxed and well cared for. The steamed signature dim sum stood out in particular: delicate, tender pastry, rich and well-balanced fillings, and a beautifully presented, almost tranquil aesthetic. The menu as a whole surprised us with its thoughtful variety — both in taste and in combinations. You can tell that every dish is prepared with great care and love. “Situated on Crow Road Temple, this Chinese restaurant is superb. We booked, and I would recommend you book, as it is busy. There is street parking only and sometimes can be difficult to park close by. We arrived on time and shown to our table. Staff are friendly and polite. Service was quick and the staff worked as a team providing and excellent service. The food was amazing, a tapas style menu offering a variety of chicken, beef and vegetable options. There is a standard menu, however the tapas was excellent as it allowed me to try different dishes without wasting money or food. We both had 6 dishes roughly with fried rice. If you haven't been, I thoroughly recommend, you will not be disappointed. Remember and book”

“Moved to the area around a year and an half ago, and this is now our ‘local Italian’. Every visit is excellent. Food is consistent, and the staff are always super friendly and service is great. Head chef Robert is an absolute star - goes above and beyond to accommodate any requirements (made a custom sauce for our party member with a multitude of difficult food intolerances and made sure she got to enjoy dessert with the rest of us), and really seems to care about the food he produces. Cannot recommend enough - my only (slight!!) criticism is the music choices can be a little odd!”

“Second time ordering and both times it’s been sensational. Food always arrived quickly and was roasting hot. The salt and chilli box comes with a good amount of chicken and loads of chips. Got the sriracha mayo and that goes perfectly with the chips and chicken. Tried the Katsu curry with jasmine rice tonight and was really impressed. The curry sauce tub has little chunks of carrot and other veg through it which makes it taste even better, the katsu chicken was lovely and crispy and there was loads of jasmine rice. Overall a really good portion size, tastes amazing, a little bit on the expensive side but if you can get an offer on apps like Uber etc then it’s 100% worth ordering.”

“I've just discovered this wee gem. I have coeliac disease and trying to find and trust food places to provide 100% gluten free is hard. I really fancied a Chinese curry, something I've not had in years due to gluten. When I called to ask about GF options the man was fantastic. He has a.good general knowledge of GF issues coeliacs face. There is literally only about 4 things I cannot eat from the menu!!!!! Thank you Tofu Oriental for your warm customer service.and a taste of GF heaven. I will most definitely be back.”

“The food is great. The chicken noodle soup was a bit salty but is probably my own taste to blame. Big ribs. Delivery arrived in half an hour, very quick. Prawn crackers that you get for delivery over £13 were fantastic. One thing that I did not read anywhere is that the delivery cost £2.50. Overall for the price and delivery time fantastic.”

You will not find a better Chinese Restaurant in the East End of Glasgow than this one, the wonton soup in particular has very generous portions and all ingredients are super fresh. Everything made to such a high standard, I have lived in the East End for 5 years and have always struggled to find a decent local, We will be returning here for sure.”
