So, I decided to check out Dim Sim as a solo traveller. I was met with a warm welcome, and was served promptly. On the menu, there was a great variety of choice and so I went for a starter and mains. The quality of the food was great along with the portion size; It was nice to have a meal that wasn't overwhelming! Overall, this restaurant had a great vibe, great quality food and service to match! I'd highly recommend!

Went for an early dinner before a show having seen good online reviews. We shared all of our food. We ordered prawn and chive steamed dumplings, char siu buns, homemade grilled pork dumplings (a must have!) to start, then had some prawn toast, chicken satay skewers and chicken in black bean sauce as a main. Everything was absolutely delicious, served quickly and piping hot. Staff were attentive and helpful. We decided to stay for a dessert and had the steamed egg custard buns which were absolutely delicious. Highly recommend, especially to eat in, and will be back next time we’re in Glasgow. A fabulous Chinese restaurant.

At Dim Sum, we felt that this truly is a place where flavour meets comfort. We were welcomed by a calm and cosy atmosphere, accompanied by gentle background music — an ideal setting for a leisurely lunch or a warm get-together with loved ones. We felt at home straight away — thanks to the kind and genuinely attentive staff, who go out of their way to make each guest feel relaxed and well cared for. The steamed signature dim sum stood out in particular: delicate, tender pastry, rich and well-balanced fillings, and a beautifully presented, almost tranquil aesthetic. The menu as a whole surprised us with its thoughtful variety — both in taste and in combinations. You can tell that every dish is prepared with great care and love. Dim Sum isn’t just a restaurant — it’s a space of flavour, peace, and heartfelt hospitality. Highly recommended — and who knows, like us, you may find yourself wanting to return again and again.

5 stars all round! Quickly seated as soon as we walked in by lovely polite staff. Very zen, autism and family friendly, environment with quiet peaceful background music. For a pleasant dining experience. Very reasonably priced, excellent, high quality and delicious range of various authentic and westernised cuisine. Perfect portion sizes, but be adventurous and try a selection. You won't want to miss out! The cocktails pack a punch! Kindly, they provide water with each of these for that reason. Great value for money. We were about £70 for 2. Great for all occasions and party sizes. We visited twice in the same week and would return again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend. Will be back soon. Great restaurant!

I was craving some Chinese food and my husband and I came here Saturday. So happy we did! Have to say, best lemon chicken I’ve had in Scotland. Pak choi with garlic was great too! My husband got the kung po chicken and loved it. Our dumplings and buns for starters were good as well. They have soy and spicy chili (in oil) on all of the tables. It was a lunch menu of 1 starter (dumplings or soup or starter) + lunch size main for £14.95. The ladies that served us were nice and attentive. Food was quick!

I had recently stated with someone that in my opinion a Chinese was a sit in the house meal and you don't go out for a Chinese meal... this place changes that... stunningly beautiful food which tasted as good as it looked... The staff were friendly welcoming and very helpful with the menu... Prompt service You must try this place...

One of the best restaurants we been to, we love dumplings, every time we go there I think maybe I should try the other stuff but I keep picking the dumplings! I recommend getting the platter for 2, so you can try the different dumplings. Next time I will come in to try other things from the menu.

It was okay. No frills Dim Sum restaurant. The menu is absolutely massive - which tends to make one think that it can’t all be fresh. The staff were friendly but it was quiet on a weekday around 6pm. It’s a shame because there is such a potential here for a great restaurant. I liked the decor which was quirky modern art Chinese (the signed football shirt up stairs was a little out of character). The food, well it was okay. We (two of us) had the fried sharing patter for two and the steamed sating platter for two and we managed to eat it all. Cold prawn crackers, no side dishes, and a fairly chunky bill for the quantity left us saddened by a restaurant that ought to be so much better than this. Small things, like attention to detail, could make huge improvements.

The restaurant is amazing. The staff is quite friendly. And I absolutely the food. Each and every dish that we ordered had a very good flavour of its own. Waiting to go here again!!
