   I bought Singapore fried rice and there was no single vegetable in it. I also bought prawn fried rice and the prawns were spoilt. The food just had oily rice, unhealthy looking eggs and spoilt prawns. How I report this officially?

   Salt and chilli chips were a pathetic attempt ! Solid and disgusting! Chicken in both satay and curry was hard and dry! So poor had Chinese loads but this has to be the worst hands down! Spent £30 for meals that all had to be wasted!

   Went to Canton for some dinner knowing they would be busy two nights before Christmas. They found us a table. We had the two course Christmas Special ( we were too full up to have the third course) Thai Samosas and Chicken and sweet corn soup to start then Cantonese sweet and sour chicken along with Chicken Satay. Everything was hot, tasty and nicely presented. Our waiter Yen was friendly, chatty and extremely polite. The restaurant itself is very nicely decorated so all in all five stars… we will be back!

   Go to the Canton fairly regularly. Food never disappoints and cost reasonable. The staff are always friendly and seating area spacious. Shame not open on a Wednesday but as family run business glad they take the night off at least once a week.

   Popped in for some food while passing through. They were doing a small plates menu, and every dish was excellent - some of the tastiest food I’ve enjoyed in a while. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

   This review is for a takeaway meal from The Canton. When we arrived it was very busy but our order was taken very quickly by a very friendly lady. Here's what we ordered, photos added too: Chicken Noodle soup - 8/10. Plenty of chicken and not too greasy. Beef curry - 9/10. Beef was great quality, sauce was nice, just slightly salty. Fried rice was perfect. Chicken balls - 8/10. Sweet and sour sauce was amazing according to my wife. Chicken balls had just a bit too much batter and not enough chicken. Salt and chilli chicken wings - 10/10. Perfect batter, nice and crispy and very tasty. Will definitely try again.
