This is a lovely hotel, rich in architectural history! I was very impressed with the level of comfort which suited me very well considering the long journey I had made to Glasgow. Being part of GLC railway station made for a perfect location, not just for transport but for its proximity to the city and its attractions! Overall, the service was good, I enjoyed my stay and would happily return in the near future!

Last year I found myself deciding to solo travel during the holidays to Scotland. It has long been a dream of mine to visit the place that has continuously called to my soul even as a little girl looking through books about this magical land and the people. I finally mustered up the courage to book the trip and did so for 17 glorious days that made up a beautiful memory I will forever cherish. During my stay in Glasgow, I booked this hotel and had the best experience. So I knew that this year I wanted to book the same place to stay and let me tell you my experience keeps getting better. From the staff, to the room, the location and the wonderful breakfast. This hotel truly has it all. It is in the center of the hustle and bustle of the city with everything around. From shopping, coffee shops, the train station and amazing restaurants this was the perfect location to be. The food onsite from breakfast buffet to the restaurant the food was top tier. They found out it was my Birthday and treated me to a drink and some lovely cookies which was so kind. Now on to the rooms. For this stay I decided to splurge as I said it was my birthday and as a single girl out on travels why not, you only live life once, so you need to treat yourself! That I did and can I say my room was so beautiful! I am still dreaming about that room, the bathroom and being there. I cant wait to be back and this will forever be my place to stay when I’m in Glasgow. Job well done Voco Hotel and staff, I felt like an absolute Queen during my stay. Thank you for not only providing a place to sleep and enjoy but one that will always be my home in Glasgow! Cheers!

Stayed for a night while waiting for a train. Room was comfortable and clean. Toilet was classy and stylish. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Hotel vibe was excellent for the holidays. However I got assigned a room that I had to climb a flight of stairs while lugging along 30kg worth of luggage. Thankfully I am physically fit. So if you’re in a wheelchair or need help do inform the front desk and maybe someone might help you.

I recently stayed one night at the voco Grand Central Hotel in Glasgow, and it was a great experience overall. The location couldn’t be more convenient, directly connected to Glasgow Central Station, making arrival, departure, and exploring the city incredibly easy. The hotel has a classic, historic charm blended with modern comfort, and the lobby and hallways feel grand without being dated. My room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, with a very cozy bed and everything I needed for a short stay. Despite the central location, it was surprisingly quiet. Staff were friendly and professional, and check-in was smooth and efficient.

This hotel is attached to the train station and centrally located in downtown Glasgow. It is a very elegant hotel with all the expected amenities. Breakfast buffet was well stocked and delicious with attentive wait staff. Location is great for restaurants, stores, etc and walking around was easy. Highly recommended.

Beautiful hotel with a lot of amazing history. The champagne bar very impressive! I stayed there for 1 night for business as it is a stones throw away from the shopping areas and 10 min taxi to the SEC Campus. Bed was very comfy and the shower lovely.

Convenience of stepping off a train and being in your hotel room minutes later can't be beat. Check in was a breeze, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are beautifully decorated with all required amenities. Location is fantastic in the heart of Glasgow. Highly recommended.

Amazing location. Staff are faultless and are the standard of a four star. Rooms were great and all facilities were thought of. Only concern was that i found 20p by the bed, I looked under it and its caked in thick dust. Not marked down as it not important to me but worthy feedback. Many thanks.

From taking a moment before entering the hotel to admire the beauty of the gorgeously historic building, to the consistently warm and friendly interaction from every member of staff. The food & beverage staff were spot on, especially throughout the conference I attended. However special mention for Mark the concierge during my stay...what a class act. 100% genuine in every single aspect and went out of his way to make me feel welcomed. Thank you Mark and thanks to all at Voco Grand Central Glasgow. Superb

We enjoyed a lovely stay in the hotel, the room was nice with a view over the station concourse and the interior of the hotel is Grand as described. The Champagne bar is a must visit for a glass of fizz and a cocktail or three, but please don’t book dinner with your stay. The menu options are restricted and the quality of food doesn’t match up to the grandness of the hotel. My recommendation would be to enjoy the stay and by all means breakfast which was great, but there are so many better options for dinner within 500yards of the hotel. Hotel ****, Bar ****, Dinner *, Breakfast **** .
