Review Sept 2025 - Stayed here while visiting Scotland for the first time. Actually stayed on the first two nights and last night before going home on this trip . (Very convenient and close to Glasgow Airport) . Rooms are small but very clean. I would recommend to NOT stay on the bottom floor facing the parking lot as there a handfuls of people walking near the windows. Pretty much impossible to let daylight into your room due to passers by lurking in. The inhouse restaurant is also convenient with breakfast and dinner options ( no lunch ). Breakfast comes cooked to order OR buffet style with the food sitting across a hot stone to keep things warm...not all items were warm though lol. Restaurant is also covenient as there is nothing close by to eat at except for Wee Maggies Kitchen. We braced ourselves as there was a Rangers match one of the nights but the Punters were not that out of control and loud-whew! Saw the Buckfast being passed around in the parking lot and had low expectations for a quiet night. But they were well behaved. Only real gripe is the strange toilet flusher built into the wall. Unsure if the cleaning staff give that a once over or not. You do not want to bare hand that plunger as everyone else's " dirty digits" are going inside there- use a kleenex wrapped on your finger. Last things to gripe about is the Samsung hvac unit built into the ceiling. Makes a low pitched sound that may keep you awake if you are a light sleeper and focus on it. Not much shelf room if you are unloading a ton of suitcases either. No hair dryer/ no small fridge either. BUT a bottle opener built onto the desk...(for opening your warm beers : ) Otherwise this is a cheap/ clean option if you want to avoid the Edinburgh airport and expensive tourist trap hotels to the East. Again...cheap/ efficient and very clean. Big shout out to John on staff whom I got the vibes he was possibly the Owner or Manager of this hotel. He is a very accomodating person/ quiet... but with great personality. John is a 5 star guy . Greetings from Canada with roots from Scotland : )

The best Travelodge I’ve stayed in. Recent refurb makes it feel brand new (though a bit more obvious they haven’t replaced the carpets). Is still a travelodge but a very good one. You’ve probably got to drive if you want a selection of food places or shops

Stayed here with my wife ahead of an early hospital appointment. The décor has had a nice refresh since my last visit and feels much improved. Emily on reception was welcoming and incredibly professional despite having to deal with a very disruptive guest — crashing into a pair of Irish grannies at the bar, spittle and tobacco flying everywhere , and carrying a smell that suggested more than just perfume. While her colleague managed the chaos outside, Emily was left running reception, the bar, and dinner service single-handedly. It meant waiting over an hour for a salad, but given the circumstances, it was semi understandable. Rooms were clean, staff handled themselves brilliantly, Travelodge certainly could do with more staff on and for unplanned cabaret, Govan certainly delivered.

Good clean and modern hotel, would be good if there was a hairdryer. We also had housekeeping come into our room at 7am and woke us up, but apart from that would probably go back if we were back in Glasgow. Parking was suitable.

Had a room booked with breakfast for Sunday 20th July through to Wednesday 23rd on a group organised by Arihant Holidays. First night was fine however upon returning to the hotel after day of travelling around we found the bed had not been made. Also whilst we had requested fresh towels only one new one had arrived and all the used towels were just left as we left in the morning. When we complained at the reception they advised the beds are not made up unless we were staying for 6 days or more ( not sure if they meant the beds are made after 6 nights of stay). On the final night when we all arrived we found that most of the keys were locked out so had to go back to the reception to get reprogrammed, when this was done again had to go to reception with the towel issue. Also some guests didn’t have the washing body shampoos not replenished. Must say, however, the breakfast provided was very good throughout the stay.

Usual basic double room. Clean and tidy. The bedding didn't quite fit the bed though, but not really a problem. The food at the night meal wasn't too good as they were short-staffed. But once we said it wasn't up to the standard we got a refund. Very helpful and pleasant staff.

Very good budget accommodation , clean and bright . Room was good quality and comfortable . Breakfast was buffet style and limited really . The hot food wasn't the greatest but did the job . We paid for the evening meal and was certainly adequate , service was not so good tho , had to wait 45 mins ! Parking on site was a good bonus too .

Must be fairly new because even bathroom looks like more from this century (simple shower instead of dirty bath)then other Travelodge hotels. Still clean i rooms smells nice. Wish them to keep this standard

Exactly as expected handy for my work. Very busy a little tired but nice staff and cleaners are friendly and chatty as expected in Glasgow. Great Breakfast all in. Staff always happy to help when I forgot my keys in room etc..don't get room 101 it's above front door and bangs constantly ..
