   Stopped in for a couple of drinks while out walking. Lovely friendly atmosphere, loads of telly's for sport lovers but not too in your face if your not. A nice hostelry.

   As this bar used to be dog friendly I asked if that had changed because I read a fairly recent review saying that their policy had changed. I did get a fairly quick response saying that sadly they were not dog friendly anymore. When I asked why I was told that they had "a bunch of complaints" and had changed policy. It seems a strange decision for an establishment so close to Linn Park but obviously it's their decision to make and we (along with other locals and visitors with dogs) will go elsewhere

   Grant who welcomed us and sorted out an issue we had with a voucher was outstanding. His customer service was one of the highest I have ever experienced. He alone would make me come back and also watching him interact with other customers was a joy to see. 100/10 Grant

   Staff are fairly friendly and attentive, and their selection of beers and local drafts are decent. They are a bit pricy though at £5.75 a pint. However, the food leaves alot to be desired. I've eaten various items from the menu over the years and it hasn't gotten any better. Seems like poor quality food that they must buy in cheaply and just whack on a hot plate or microwave. Would not recommend the food at all.

   Surprisingly great pub food for Glasgow. Nothing like your normal Wethersoons/Hungry Horse, the burger here had an amazing crisp bun on it and tased so fresh. I also had a slice of the sticky toffee pudding which was very delicious and well presented. It was order at the bar, however the staff were very pleasant and welcoming, bring the food to the table and checking in that everything was good. The atmosphere was pretty quiet tonight as there was nothing on, however they have a board at the door that was full of things like Poker Night and sports events. I'll definitely be back and would throughly recommend a visit.

   Was there last Wednesday for a cowglen golf club works night out for the bar staff and greenkeepers. Thought a table had been booked for the 10 of us,but our organiser hadn't. Manageress, despite being very busy sorted out a couple of tables for us. Service efficient and professional and the food very good.
