“Always welcoming and usually very busy; so sometines a little wait. However what do you expect when you want a quality fish supper, any traditional food or a great Italian pizza. Alfies even have their own app which allows you to order for collection or delivery as well as offering discount and frequent user extra discount codes. Well worth a visit and you won't be disappointed.”

“While the food and drink on offer Wetherspoon isn't the best, this pub takes customer service seriously. The staff are all polite and kind and they go out of their way to help customers. The Men's toilets, on walking in, were amongst the best smelling toilets I've ever been in. A lovely vanilla scent as soon as you walk in and cleaned so regularly there's no time for the smells you'd normally get in a pub loo to develop. One of the best pubs in the area and well worth a visit.”

“A great wee van in Netherton, Wishaw. Christine is always good for a blether and the food is great, her portions are better than most, if not all other in the area too. Highly recommend if you're in or around, nip in for a burger or a wrap.”

“OMG what a gem!! Amazing amazing amazing gluten and dairy free pancakes - honestly absolutely DIVINE. Hash browns we're also fresh out the frier and so hot and yummy. What a find! Staff were lovely, it was absolutely rammed (Sunday morning) but got a table upstairs. Slight wait for food but SO worth it (and likely as the GF/DF pancake batter was made from scratch). Oat milk for my cappuccino was also gluten free.”

“I always get the spicy dipped burger, 10/10 highly recommend. The spicy dipped loaded fries are also a good option. The galaxy cookie dough cake was very nice and was a good treat after all the spicy food!”

“The work done is always top quality. The price is always reasonable and I've never had an issue. However today getting a new tyre replaced as I ran over a bolt. I was waiting for my tyre to get replaced and went outside instead of the normal waiting area. I seen the mechanic looking in my glovebox box for my wheelkey. There was old pictures of my grandmother in there and I seen him show them to other workers and was laughing. I found this really inappropriate.”

“Now and then me and my partner always go for a wee treat and we always go to the terrace cafe when kids are at school before he goes to start his shift at 2pm food is always lovely and never any trouble for the staff always friendly and attentive, I phoned last minute seeing if I could get a high tea but was fully booked my own fault leaving things last minute about 10minutes later they rang me and said had a cancellation and managed to get me my two kids and mum booked in which was lovely we used a cafe down near motherwell last year for a high tea and for the kids it wasn't really kids friendly and was way overpriced it was a nice surprise in the terrace as the high tea for the two kids was so much better and the choice was a lot more kid friendly nothing went to waste and was a nice touch adding the wee bowl of chicken nuggets I've seen so many complaints people moaning about paying 0.50 for a box to take home honestly I don't know why people moan as I feel we couldn't of asked for a better afternoon the food and the kids wee high teas were lovely and the staff are so nice and the scones were to die for was a perfect wee afternoon I'd highly recommend for lunch or a wee treat I've also had the wee meal prep meals which are nice and lovely to and my two girls loved it it's a great wee cafe there was such a big choice also and the wee plates and china cups are very dainty and cute”

“Saw this place passing and went up at the weekend. Proper Greek place. The couple were very busy but served me as well as they could. Food excellent. Got a baklava cheescake that was superb as well. Definitely be back”

The only thing that would make this place better is if it was a sit in restaurant because that’s how good the food is.”

“There was a bit of a wait at check in. Only one computer and after a long walk from train station, it was not ideal. They were very apologetic and kind. Staff were lovely. Warm and friendly. I have Autism and ADHD, and I found everyone very helpful and supportive when I wished to request the same room for my next stay. Very fun interactions between staff. Which gave the environment a positive feel. The room was amazing! Plenty of space. Clean. Well stocked. I did not wish housekeeping. I prefer my space left until I leave because of my Autism, knowing someone I don’t know has been in the room can feel uncomfortable. I am not messy anyway, so nothing to do. They respected the sign on the door every day. Not one knock. Which I really appreciated! Quieter than expected. And really a gem for some quiet time away from home. I am back in two days! And have found my little home away from home to decompress and relax. Highly recommended!”

“As a lover of Japanese food, I was excited to see that Golden Inn had a decent range on offer. We ordered Chicken Katsu Curry bowl, 8 piece Dragon Rolls and Prawn Gyoza. Everything was made fresh, the presentation was beautiful and everything tasted incredible. I can’t believe that we have this standard of Japanese food right on our doorstep. The owners were also very friendly and helpful. All in all this was an incredible experience and we would highly recommend it. Will definitely be back there soon.”

“This is my favourite Chinese takeaway. The service is great. I usually phone for a collection and all food is ready when I arrive. If I do get a delivery, the delivery time is usually only about 30-40 minutes, which is another plus. The menu is always being added to and there is a great variety, their satay sauce is my favourite right now.”
