“Now and then me and my partner always go for a wee treat and we always go to the terrace cafe when kids are at school before he goes to start his shift at 2pm food is always lovely and never any trouble for the staff always friendly and attentive, I phoned last minute seeing if I could get a high tea but was fully booked my own fault leaving things last minute about 10minutes later they rang me and said had a cancellation and managed to get me my two kids and mum booked in which was lovely we used a cafe down near motherwell last year for a high tea and for the kids it wasn't really kids friendly and was way overpriced it was a nice surprise in the terrace as the high tea for the two kids was so much better and the choice was a lot more kid friendly nothing went to waste and was a nice touch adding the wee bowl of chicken nuggets I've seen so many complaints people moaning about paying 0.50 for a box to take home honestly I don't know why people moan as I feel we couldn't of asked for a better afternoon the food and the kids wee high teas were lovely and the staff are so nice and the scones were to die for was a perfect wee afternoon I'd highly recommend for lunch or a wee treat I've also had the wee meal prep meals which are nice and lovely to and my two girls loved it it's a great wee cafe there was such a big choice also and the wee plates and china cups are very dainty and cute”

“Popped in here for lunch on my way to Wishaw maternity with my daughter. The 2 girls working there were absolutely delightful! Chatting away, and both had lovely way about them, happy & a big smile on their faces. Very welcoming . Lovely atmosphere. We both had a baked potato & it was delicious, we both couldn’t finish it, very generous portions. I live in EK, however if I’m ever in wishaw I will definitely be popping in here. Great wee place, would recommend giving it a visit. Great menu too, plenty options, but not to many. Just a smashing wee place!”

“OMG what a gem!! Amazing amazing amazing gluten and dairy free pancakes - honestly absolutely DIVINE. Hash browns we're also fresh out the frier and so hot and yummy. What a find! Staff were lovely, it was absolutely rammed (Sunday morning) but got a table upstairs. Slight wait for food but SO worth it (and likely as the GF/DF pancake batter was made from scratch). Oat milk for my cappuccino was also gluten free.”

“Honestly shocking... I mean shockingly good! The staff are friendly and the service is great. The food itself is top drawer. If you are needing somewhere nearby to eat then this is the place. Potatoscone nachos, chicken wings, salt and chili chicken, the burgers....the list goes on. I always make a point of picking something different and nothing has dissapointed yet! They are on JE and I tried the takeaway service as well and most places dont have the same quality on takeaways, but by god this still ticks all the boxes.”

“No words for how epic the food is here, only had 2 deliveries and wow!!! Portion sizes are off the scale so you most certainly get more than your moneys worth. Best kinder bueno shake I’ve ever tried hands down. I could go on and on and into fine details about how nice even the salad was but I really can’t fault any items I’ve had so far.”
