“Lovely staff, reasonably priced food that came out pretty quickly. The chairs were sturdy ( as someone who is 23stone this is an important one). Busy little cafe but that didn't effect the service or wait time. They had a good few vegetarian options which was nice. The food was all classic things you would expect from a cafe. Would definitely recommend.”

“We had a table booked for 9 people for Christmas lunch. I arrived 15 mins early and the table was ready. Our server was polite and friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The food was good. Some people in the group had the turkey dinner which was fantastic. A generous plateful of food - thick cut turkey with all the trimmings. I had the salmon which although a small portion was just enough for me. The bistro was very clean and the service was great. Will definitely be going back.”

“Went in on a cold and dreich day but it wasn't long until we warmed up due to the really friendly service...we only tried the cakes and tea and coffee but what we had was amazing especially the french fancies...they were no Kipling things, these were homemade and huge about six times the size of a Kipling one with fresh cream and soft gooey icing and such pleasant and friendly owners. Such a rarity.”
