I was very disappointed with my experience at Gyropolis – Greek Traditional Grill House. The food quality did not meet expectations at all. The dishes lacked the freshness and flavor I typically associate with Greek cuisine, and everything felt hastily prepared. The seasoning was bland, the textures were uneven, and nothing on the plate stood out in a positive way. The service unfortunately did not improve the experience. Staff seemed disengaged and overwhelmed, which resulted in long waits and minimal attention to guests. Even simple requests took far longer than they should have. Overall, the visit felt underwhelming and not worth the price. Based on this experience, I would not recommend Gyropolis and do not plan to return.
The food? Couldn’t tell you. My appetite did a full u turn escape the moment the attitude hit me. I sincerely hope they reboot the whole operation, because right now this place has the customer service skills of a brick. So yeah if am being honest overall would not recommend this place at all, should treat people with a little more respect.
Saw this place passing and went up at the weekend. Proper Greek place. The couple were very busy but served me as well as they could. Food excellent. Got a baklava cheescake that was superb as well. Definitely be back
Hopefully the people who own this place read this review, I hadn’t tried food from here till last night, all I can say is I went back the next night because the food is AMAZING!!! You now have a new customer keep up the good work xxxx
Ordered for first time this evening as love greek food. However what I was given was disgusting. Processed pork which was tasteless, processed chicken and horrible greek kebab which resembled Donna meat in texture. Would never go here again. Also overpriced. Do yourself a favour and DO NOT order from here. If you know what Greek food actually tastes like will be VERY disappointed. Never again.
Best takeaway about tbh. The chicken wrap with chips inside was lovely and fresh. The couple who work here are lovely aswell, always so friendly and really made me feel valued. I really enjoy the home made Tzatziki, it's delicious. They also do some really good Greek soft drinks. Would definitely return and personally recommend to others.
Gyros mix platter is great , food is delicious. Desserts are also great. Great value aswell.
The best food place in wishaw/Motherwell. Highly recommend! Staff are so friendly and helpful! The food is always outstanding, super tasty meals and desserts! Delivery is always nice and quick even on busy days so good always come nice and fresh and warm :)
