Was at the Parkville for their Hogmanay party last night. Brilliant night. Kitchen team smashed it with the dinner. Floor staff were attentive and happy to assist with all queries. Bar staff, great service, happy and helpful. Zero complaints. Will be back for a meal in the restaurant and a drink in the bar very soon.

Was here on Christmas Day, never again. £70 for adult and £35 for a child not worth the money. The starter and the Dessert was the best bit, soup was lovely and the cheesecake was delicious. The kids Menu was shocking. Lentil soup to start then a choice of chicken tenders, mac n cheese or fish fingers then ice cream from a tub with strawberry sauce. No choice of a mini Christmas dinner for them. Service was a little slow however staff was attentive and friendly. Santa did come to visit which was nice with a selection box for the kids.

We recently celebrated my dad's 80th and my daughter's 30th at The Parkville. We were a large group including 2 toddlers. The choice of menu, the quality of food and the service were amazing! Every member of their team is a credit to them, however, special recognition to one of our servers (Michael). This young man oozed customer care whilst being very personable and very genuine. He really deserves recognition and praise for his hosting skills. A sincere thank you for making our experience so positive.

My parents recently celebrated their Diamond Wedding anniversary back at The Parkville. This was their wedding venue 60yrs ago. They had a beautiful lunch on October 20th with family and everyone was so kind and made everyone feel really special. All the staff really looked after my parents and showed a real interest in their wedding memories. Food was excellent and consensus was that the lunch was just as good or perhaps even better than the wedding meal 60yrs ago! Special thanks to Lynne who went above and beyond to make my parents Diamond Wedding celebrations, a real gem of an occasion. Thank you.

Servicer was great but was very stretched and took a long time to get the bill. Sweet was supposed to be rhubarb cobbler but was actually given apple crumble and a extremely small portion of custard. Very happy with price and quality of food. Would go again. Would recommend booking a table

The rooms are extremely well presented. Tasteful furnishings and the colours are soft, warm and create a calm ambience. The Bathroom was immaculate, with modern furnishings which maintained a very clean and fresh appearance. Complimentary shampoos and soaps are provided, and the towels were fresh and of a very good quality. Bed sheets were of a very high thread count and very comfortable indeed. In fact, for the same standard of room in a city location, I would expect to be charged double the price. That said, one would also expect double the noise. The room curtains were super heavy, so blacking out the room was no problem. Without question, this is a terrific find. I would encourage anyone who's visiting on business in the city to consider this rather more sedate location, and simply travel a short distance into the city when required. The food offered by this establishment is rather good. The homemade steak pie really did taste "Homemade", and was simply delicious. My colleagues equally enjoyed their choices, and between all three of us, we were not left wanting with the portion sizes being presented to us. So in all, a very pleasant stay, and very much well fed and refreshed. Well done Parkville.

Had Christmas lunch with friends. Three excellent menus to choose from with good variety of options on all courses. Very attentive staff. All Portions were excellent, with the turkey in particularly very generously served even on the seniors festive menu. Eton mess and sticky toffee were lovely. Definitely won us over a new customers. Good lunch time parking although perhaps ould get busy of an evening but plenty of local parking available. Thank you very much.

Christmas lunch with Blantyre Congregational Church men's fellowship. Food first class. Staff excelled themselves. Nothing too much bother. So good we've booked again for January. And great value for money. Decor was fab too and plenty of parking. Most impressed.

Thanks so much for everything you did for us when we came with family to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary. From speaking on the phone with Louise and booking the tables to Tracy and the other staff on the night, the service couldn't have been any better. The lovely personalised menus were such a nice touch too and everyone complimented them. All the meals were thoroughly enjoyed and nothing was too much trouble. Thanks again!
