“Usually go to china one but after a couple of times of undercooked chicken balls tried here. All the food was lovely and happy meal is great value, dropped a star as they forgot the small tub of sweet and sour sauce, place is immaculate. Will be back!”

“My husband and I had an overnight stay at The Commercial Hotel and would definitely recommend it. There is a spacious car park at the rear of the hotel. Very friendly staff at check in (sorry can't remember the ladies name who checked us in & also served us at dinner and breakfast). I was lucky enough to get one of the first two rooms downstairs with a balcony. The room itself was spotless. There were plenty of tea's and coffees available with complimentary biscuits, it was a nice touch. After settling in the room we went down to the bar for food, the steak and sausage pie is delicious I would definitely recommend trying it. Later that night after returning from a birthday party the nightclub was in full swing, you couldn't hear anything from the downstairs room but if you walked up to the top floor you could hear the music blaring. For those looking for a quieter stay I recommend asking for the lower floor rooms. The only criticism I can add is that I had trouble connecting to the WiFi in the room but in fairness that didn't really bother me. I do have to say though after having a delicious meal at dinner time I was very disappointed with the breakfast. The Scottish breakfast came out with scrambled egg which was disgusting and tasted burnt, the sausage wasn't that great either, the only nice thing's on the plate were the black pudding and potato scone. We would definitely love to return for a visit even if it is only to have the steak pie.”

“Honestly shocking... I mean shockingly good! The staff are friendly and the service is great. The food itself is top drawer. If you are needing somewhere nearby to eat then this is the place. Potatoscone nachos, chicken wings, salt and chili chicken, the burgers....the list goes on. I always make a point of picking something different and nothing has dissapointed yet! They are on JE and I tried the takeaway service as well and most places dont have the same quality on takeaways, but by god this still ticks all the boxes.”

“Easily the best Chinese in Wishaw. Order from here pretty much once a week, and they always deliver hot, quality food exactly on time as requested. The meat they use is very nice and tender. Highly recommend the salt and chilli box. There have even been times when I've forgotten to say "no onions" with my curry, and someone from the takeaway has called to check with me.”

“Went to get a Desi style Pizza and first of all what’s amazing is that they have a open plan kitchen and the desi pizza was delicious and everything is cooked in front of customers and food is amazing I recommend everyone here And everything is fresh as always.”
