Outdoor pool in Cardiff

“If you get a chance to go here, then do it. So much fun with my three friends. Easy to find, loads of parking, clean facilities and equipment. They had everything you would need bar swimwear. Great safety introduction and prep before the activity. The facilities were incredible. There was plenty of time to enjoy the rapids. We weren't around 5-6 times. The guy who took us out and looked after us was a top bloke from Australia (sadly I can't remember his name) but he was great, we had so much fun and he really got involved with our silly, immature girly nature's. He was encouraging but also respectful of individuals limitations. Thank you so much. Stacey”

“I go here every day they're open to make use of the excellent pool to swim, and also attend aqua aerobics classes 4 days a week. Both are a great way to get fit at your own pace and make friends/have fun while taking part!”

“From initial contact to through install to aftersales everyone proven to be very knowledgable and has given excellent help and advice. Initial visit to the showroom was very pleasant with no rush or pressure to buy and loads of info about the pro and cons of each spa. During install the control panel was found to be faulty but exceptional service ensured a replacement was sourced and fitted within 24 hours. Oyster has given a 1st class service and I would highly recommend Oyster to anyone considering purchasing a hot tub.”

“Me and my little one attend turtle tots class in health hospital pool every week. We can’t recommend it enough. He absolutely loves it and has grown so much confidence in matter of weeks. He is only just two and is already able to swim which is crazy and this is all due to his amazing teacher Ceri-Anne.”

The club itself is fantastic, from the spacious gym with top-quality equipment to the swimming pools, spa facilities, and welcoming lounge areas. “Bigger and better than last year. On a scorching June Saturday if your not participating consider bringing camping chair or a picnic blanket to sit down on, possibly an umbrella as no shade. The Aqua Park sell drinks, ice lollies, crisps and snacks at fairly reasonable prices. Water is cold but wet suit isn't necessary if you don't mind colder water.”

“Took my little one here recently for the first time. Hired the pool privately for an hour for myself, my son and 4 family members. Lovely pool warm and bright. Was a tad confusing to find at first but now we know where it is it's easy”

“Though the price has increased and sessions are shorter this is still a beautiful setting and redesigned art deco building. Heated to a warm temperature, go before the school holiday while it's not too busy.”

“A beautiful tree lined Park, rose garden, boating pond, kids wet play area and seasonal planting. A calm oasis. And a lovely Parkrun every Saturday.”

“This is an amazing park right in the centre of Cardiff with lots to see and it's very peaceful for a walk in the evening. There's plenty to do from adult fitness to a visitor centre to checking out the interpretive signs about the trees and wildlife. This was a great find and a must-see for anybody in Cardiff”

“The place to go if you want to get photos of kingfishers. You might get lucky and see one quickly, you might have to wait many hours, but generally if you're patient you will be rewarded. The first hide is best as the perches are a lot closer. Nice walks around the area as well, with beautiful colours along the old canal and you can loop around to the river Taff. Plenty of other wildlife around and kids will enjoy the hides when the rabbits and squirrels turn up.”
