“One of the better castles I've visited. Plenty to see and explore, interactive audio download available and very reasonably priced. The cafe and gift shop are quite small but the staff are helpful and friendly.”

“Amazing. Friendly, quite quiet early before 8am. Box fit was so good. I can see in 6 months time I'm really going to tone up. So close to my house for convenience. All staff have helped with my disability and been soo patience with me. Thanks guys”
“Went into Village Gym today with a quick query before my workout, and Cheryl was amazing! She went out of her way to help and was super friendly and approachable. I really appreciated her kindness and the effort she put in.”
“Fantastic swimming pool, the recently finished changing rooms have really improved this. The gym is small but much quieter than most. Great place for swimming lessons.”
“The gym at Cardiff International Pool and Gym has a really relaxed vibe with plenty of space to work out. Classes are great and the members very welcoming to newcomers. Special shout out to David Thatcher, one of the Personal Trainers. Although I know my way around gyms, I wanted to take my fitness to the next level and have purchased some sessions to help me achieve my goals. David has been helping me find muscles and strength that I did not know that I had. He also keeps me entertained during the session, and the time really does fly when you are counting reps! I highly encourage anyone wanting to reach new fitness goals to purchase some sessions with David.”
“Go there once a week through kfit during lunch time. Location is close to mtr station(10min walk) There are free towels and sauna room can use.”
“Great staff. Good place. Kids learn at comfort.”
“Much nicer than expecting to be honest. Clean, great size, suitable for all abilities. Not too deep for kids but bigger enough to have a decent swim. Good value for money when a few people going. Plenty of floats etc to use if needed. Our family loved it.”
“Took my little one here recently for the first time. Hired the pool privately for an hour for myself, my son and 4 family members. Lovely pool warm and bright. Was a tad confusing to find at first but now we know where it is it's easy”
“My granddaughter has been going to heathwood for four years and is a confident swimmer and loves her instructor Georgia. Lily will miss her very much when she leaves xx”
“My son Taha absolutely loves his swimming classes! He’s always excited to go and has made amazing progress. Richard, his instructor, is excellent — very patient, encouraging, and great with the kids. He makes every lesson fun and helps Taha feel confident in the water. Highly recommend these classes for anyone looking for a fantastic swimming school!”
“Our daughter recently underwent a procedure to have a tumour removed from her face. From start to finish, we cannot fault the excellent care provided by the plastic surgeon Mr Wilson-Jones, Sarah (lead paediatric nurse) and everyone else involved in our daughter’s care. The process was incredibly quick and effortless, putting us at ease. The facilities were spotless and our daughter enjoyed the food, requesting more! We even recieved a message from Sarah a few days after the operation asking how our daughter has been. We are very grateful for everything the care team did, especially going above and beyond for us . We have already recommended the service to other families and will continue to do so. Thank you again!”
“Though the price has increased and sessions are shorter this is still a beautiful setting and redesigned art deco building. Heated to a warm temperature, go before the school holiday while it's not too busy.”
“Very nice park flower beds were fantastic”
“A beautiful tree lined Park, rose garden, boating pond, kids wet play area and seasonal planting. A calm oasis. And a lovely Parkrun every Saturday.”
“Beautiful country park. Lots to do and see. Visitors centre has a cafe and is dog friendly.”
“This is an amazing park right in the centre of Cardiff with lots to see and it's very peaceful for a walk in the evening. There's plenty to do from adult fitness to a visitor centre to checking out the interpretive signs about the trees and wildlife. This was a great find and a must-see for anybody in Cardiff”
“The place to go if you want to get photos of kingfishers. You might get lucky and see one quickly, you might have to wait many hours, but generally if you're patient you will be rewarded. The first hide is best as the perches are a lot closer. Nice walks around the area as well, with beautiful colours along the old canal and you can loop around to the river Taff. Plenty of other wildlife around and kids will enjoy the hides when the rabbits and squirrels turn up.”
“A Lovely Day at Roath Park – Peaceful, Beautiful, and Relaxing! We had a really enjoyable time at Roath Park today. It’s such a beautiful and well-kept place, perfect for relaxing or spending time with family and friends. The weather was nice, and the whole park had a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. We started by walking around the lake, which was the highlight of our visit. The water was calm, and we saw ducks, swans, and even some people out on small boats. The iconic lighthouse on the lake is lovely and adds to the charm of the park. We took lots of great photos! There were plenty of benches and open spaces, so it was easy to find a quiet spot to sit and enjoy the view. Families were having picnics, kids were playing, and everyone seemed happy and relaxed. We also stopped at the café for a quick snack, which was convenient and had a nice selection of drinks and food. Overall, Roath Park is a perfect place to escape from the busyness of everyday life. Whether you want to walk, relax, or enjoy nature, this park has something for everyone. We’ll definitely be coming back again soon!”
