“I have lived in Bradford all of my life. And this attraction is The best thing in the town centre. Especially for the children and teenagers seem to love it and of course everyone loves it in the summer time. And for the romantic’s out there it’s a great opportunity for a great backdrop for your first photographic memories of your first date and there is also place to eat and drink with Witherspoon on the doorstep. and I have also been to there and it’s a great place to visit very friendly people and the Staff are always nice and friendly and very welcoming to all top notch. And there’s a fish and chip shop just in the corner. So as you can read you can spend a lovely day in Bradford and keep your Children busy and get some wonderful photos to remember you’re visit”

“A beautiful park with a small lake, 2 play parks and multiple paths, filled with a variety of trees and plants. Very clean with plenty of bins, well maintained.”

“A superb open air pool with fantastic views of Ilkley Moor . Friendly and helpful staff . In heated pool but it's fine to wear long sleeve swim costume or wet suit . Pool at around 20 degrees after a few days of sun .”

“Small but good local gym with machines and free weights. Swimming pool. Hot drink machine. Helpful staff. Big car park gets busy.”

“Went to the inflatable fun swim, myself & another older mum were the only mums on there. My son wanted me to go on with him so we raced across, my arms were really aching the next day as i pulled my own body weight across a few times!!! It smelt a bit did the actual inflatable. We didn't last the 75 mins as myself & my son got bored as you can't even swim when the inflatable is up.”

“I love swimming here A nice big pool. it's warm as well. The only downside is the male showers are colder than the pool.”

“Lovely place for my toddler, crazy and fun. Has plenty of slides for my 2 year old to explore. Do wish they had a lift for prams/strollers - only stairs access through main entrance. Has a trampoline area for kids! Nice place for my little one to get their energy out”

“Its such a good pool honestly. Plenty of space. I think the only thing that is quite a bit of a turn away is the children. Ones whos parents arent telling children whats safe and whats not. Because there was a group of boys when we visited, who kept cannon balling off of the diving board. Had been told multiple times not to and yet still kept doing it. I understand you go for fun, but parents, its also your job to keep your kids safe.”

“Horton Park is a public park in Bradford, England, located to the west of the city in Great Horton. It was opened on 25 May 1878 on land purchased by Bradford Council in 1873. The park was designed by William Gay landscape gardener and surveyor. The park provides bowling greens, and a children's play area, as well as floral decorations. Bradford Council retain ownership of the park but, the park is primarily looked after by Glendale on contract. The bowling greens are open to the public from April to September each year. Vehicular access to the park is by permit only.”

“Fantastic place for a walk, bike, run or horse ride. Looks like there’s wild campers as well. There’s a couple of car parks at the main entrance to the chevin, they can get busy but you can usually find somewhere. There’s other entrances with some road side parking available as well. There’s various totes you can take to make it less or more challenging and make a walk anything from 10 mins to 2 hours. All paths have great scenery and some have some wonderful views overlooking Otley. It’s usually fairly busy with people and dogs but plenty of space so not crowded. Also there are horses being rode up there often so one to be aware of depending how your dog is.”

“Stunning place. Natural beauty, peaceful with good toilet facilities. Cafe, small visitor attraction and souvenir shop. The actual Hall is beautiful and enables you to step back in time, gorgeous gardens and country park walks.”

“Nice flat walk around a small reservoir. Toilets open all day until 6pm. Small visitor centre selling drinks and snacks also local maps. Lots of opportunity to extend your walk in all directions. Parking was £1 in an honesty box at the visitor centre.”

“Lovely place to go for a walk. You can walk to the canal and then cross to the other side of the canal to walk back to Hirst locks or Saltaire. Nice and quiet early on.”

“Lovely little play area here at Norland, well maintained and the small car park is a bonus too. Access to the moor for walks and enough field to exercise your dog. Great for kites when the wind blows and the view is amazing down the Calder Valley.”

“Fun Saturday morning spent. Looking at hundreds of Hockneys. Plenty of variety and culture. Free entry and the staff were helpful.”

“Great dryish walk on a wet day. Flat surface and even path, suitable for all. Lots of shrubs, little ponds and interesting wildlife on the small lake here. There can be some big puddles and runoff. If you’re lucky you might see a plane takeoff or landing. 0.8 miles per lap and free car parking.”

“A lovely park for all the family regardless of age. Lots of seating. Great play area. Walk by the water, sit in the green areas or take the dog for a run. There's plenty of space to kick a ball around too.”

“Beautiful Harold Park||Explore the beauty of BRADFORD**. I been there many times , my main interest to take some pictures . Yes I did. It’s a lovely place for walk or spending time with family. Large lake just loved it. It's worth a visit. If you walk /run beside this water you definitely going to feel relief from stress. It's lovely and so natural. In fact there are two lake so, try to see both. And if you visit on a summer time you gonna see there are a lots of flower. It's amazing.”

“A great reserve to walk round, the volunteers are doing a grand job tidying, repairing, planting. Check when the cafe is open and what's on, there's reserve walks and I've been to the otter talk very interesting. Dogs welcome on lead (have recall) as it's a nature reserve and trying to bring back and welcome the wildlife, poo bin there but gets full. Free car park other side of the canal”

“Lovely place to sit and spend some quiet time on a sunny day. Free entry and very clean inside. We were lucky to enjoy the colour festival on the day we went. Overall, it is a good place for children and elderly both.”

“Brilliant play area with a large selection of apparatus for the kids. Some new things have been installed since the last time I went, and the new swings are fantastic! There's a fabulous walk around the lake and in the woods, and if you're interested, there's also a golf course and archery!”
