A great place to walk the dog & a lot of credit due to whoever keeps it clean & tidy. There's a few cafes where you can grab a drink or bite to eat as well.

Well maintained, maybe this is where my astronomical council tax money is going. The park and play areas are very clean and modern, a lot of effort has gone into the up keep and there is a lot of history around the park. There was a water fountain maintenance team emptying a water feature on the day we visited and I would of thought they could of used the water a little more wisely during a hose pipe ban and general water shortage across the country, (like watering the plants) rather than pumping the water straight onto the nearby path.

Lovely place to sit and spend some quiet time on a sunny day. Free entry and very clean inside. We were lucky to enjoy the colour festival on the day we went. Overall, it is a good place for children and elderly both.

Greenhead Park is a delightful place to spend time outdoors. The park features beautiful walking paths and expansive areas for children to play. It's impressively clean and well-maintained, with ample garbage disposal facilities. The play areas are in excellent condition and appear to adhere to safety regulations, providing peace of mind for parents. A charming duck pond adds to the park's appeal, offering opportunities to observe wildlife. Additionally, there are plenty of benches and seating areas scattered throughout, making it easy to take a break and enjoy the surroundings. Overall, Greenhead Park is a wonderful spot for relaxation and recreation.

It's very big park and beautiful. We had a great time. It's very relaxing. Lots of things to do for the kids, like skateboard, tennis, swing, cycling, basketball, feeding the ducks, walking dogs, picnic or just chilling.

Nice little park to walk round and take your kids to play in the park. Got public toilets and 2 nice cafes for food & drinks, it has a skat park, tennis courts and bowling so lots to do. The only problem with the place it hasn't got a car park, the only parking their is, is parking round the park on the main road and if it's busy you will struggle to park they are some disabled spaces in-between each gate to get in.

The best park in Huddersfield and surrounding areas. So many levels to it, making it look totally different everywhere you walk... It has something for everyone! I live right next to it so I'm lucky enough to see it through the seasons, with My dog Mabel. There are 2 playgrounds for the kids, one with a zip line. Cafe and ice cream van. Also plenty of tennis courts and a skate park. Honestly, it has everything you need to have a great time here.

Spent an hour in this lovely park this afternoon while we were in Huddersfield. Enjoyed a little picnic on one of the many benches in & around the park. Lovely wide pathways, a lovely bandstand, a massive playarea, a nice sized lake, so quite a bit to enjoy. The park slopes up towards the church but nothing too steep for people with mobility issues. Nice to see wildlife using the lake although it was severely lacking in water due to the hot weather and hopefully will be replenished soon and save the lovely ducks calling it their home. Greenhead Park is definatly worth a visit as its not far from the town centre.

What a brilliant park, with so much to do. Great views and so many different things. Beautiful lake, basketball, bandstand, duck pond and a skate park to name a few. Go for yourself with a family or a couple or a stroll alone! It is a lovely park and plenty of seating on benches. Clean, well kept grass and hedges. Loads of parking on main road on either entrance so no worries about that. The ice cream van charges Β£2.50 for one single cone which is ridiculous.
