A nice park for dog walking, however it’s starting to look run down, sadly like many places in Kirklees. The railings have been crudely removed and weeds are overgrowing the memorial park, buildings looking dilapidated. It’s a shame to see it go this way

Ravensknowle Park is approx 12 acres (5 ha) of parkland, forming the grounds of Tolson Museum. The park may be small-ish, but it's lovely to wander round, and is well-maintained. It's popular with families with young children. It's home to the striking Cloth Hall Shelter, this being the entrance and clock tower from the old Cloth Hall, moved here from Huddersfield town centre after the Cloth Hall was demolished in 1929/30. There is ample free parking on site. The museum serves refreshments, with outside seating. The Tolson Museum is also worth a visit; entry is free.

It’s got an okay little kids playground, it’s shame it hasn’t got more too it. Free parking, and the museum is good but it’s only open a few hours a week.

Absolute gem among the suburbs. Amazed to find that the local council are trying to have it closed down. They should be making sure it's future is secured. Lovely real museum. Coffee etc. Formal space, performance space. Bowls pitch. Lots of dog walking and people using the outdoor areas. It would be a loss to the community if it were closed.

It's the first time we have been and the staff are lovely and so friendly. We enjoyed the walk. Round the park abd went on a few gym exercises machines. We did yoga and Chair exercises and Big drum dressing which was so much fun. Definitely be coming back. ♥️♥️♥️

Welcome to Huddersfield. This is a lovely park with beautiful garden, green field, and playground next to Tolson Museum. If this place is managed even better, it may attract people to come enjoying the facilities provided. This place is perfect and nice on spring or summer to enjoy the sun.

A small park to walk around. Few activities available for kids. At times you can see fairs and stalls with fun activities and food.

Nice little park. There is outdoor gym equipments area, football and basketball court. And green area as well of course.
