“Great for kids and quite clean! Staff are helpful and good with kids Showers are super busy and there's a lot of over 8s boys in the girls area which is not good wasn't like this before but getting more and more mixed”
“They got a soft play area, pools, and gym under one roof. It's worth of their memberships”
“The studio is quite big and well equipped. But I believe it is not well advertised, hence very few attendees.”
“We were asked by our Daughter in Law to take our Grandaughter swimming. The building was easy to find with clear parking. The welcome was warm and clear instructions given. We were able to watch her swimming class from the balconey comfortably seated. There appeared to be many events held in is busy establishment. A good facility for all to use.”
“Great place for walking the dog on or off lead.”
“I required some very specific pool lighting, supplied within a very, very tight timeframe. Merlin were the only company I spoke to who were willing to take on the challenging request. The lights were sourced & delivered directly to me within just a few days, enabling the project to be completed on time. I was kept updated on progress and they made what seemed an impossible task, seem extremely simple. Superb customer service and a pleasure to deal with! Look no further - Give these guys a call!”
“Great place to feed the ducks. Always a large amount of wild fowl. Never that busy. Behind the car park is a great place to walk the dog”
“We use the swimming pool, both our children are attending swimming classes. There teachers are fantastic, they know each child personally. The front desk staff are also very helpful, it feels very personal.”
“Sunday, men only swimming is brilliant and enjoying with my boys every weekend. Clean and ample shower and changing rooms. Several allocated on street free parking right outside the center and usually get full but worth waiting get a free spot (10 -15 minutes). No shops right outside but plenty are there 5 minutes walk away. Halal and Vegitarian options. Kids outdoor play area and outdoor gym, public park and library is located right opposite side of the center.”
“My children have been coming here for years for their swimming lessons, can't fault the swim teachers and how much my children have progressed. Not fond of the female changing rooms, lack of showers and sometimes the changing rooms smell of urine.”
“Not long started swimming here, I’m not one for swimming but needed it as part of my recovery, started the woman’s only sessions, which was not a great experience and was to quit, but then got talking to Kerry who works there, she was very understanding, listened and convinced me to continue swimming the sessions as things get easier etc and I’m glad I did approach her as she is the main reason I’m still swimming here, I see the staff to get a lot of hassle from the woman in pool complaining about any little thing, they get very rude, but the staff always keep there cool, we should appreciate the staff more.”
“We are here most Friday's with my 3-year old niece it's lovely the staff here are helpful and friendly and the prices are still reasonable. Recommend Tuesdays Wednesdays if you prefer quieter times. We come here around 11 a.m. on Fridays and it can get busy. Think they need some sort of vending machine or coffee machine to save me going into the shopping centre...”
“Honestly but surprised on read the reviews on Nuffield Health Leicester. I joined October 2024 and pretty much I’m there 6 classes a week. Now I main go early morning and there is no issue of over being crowded. My 5 star review is based on has my fitness and health improved! Easy answer yes. Again my review do I feel comfortable in the Gym! Yes. Don’t feel intimidated at all. Are the staffing helpful and friendly! Yes. My review will be 5 stars as I’m getting everything I need. Now I can understand a few comments people have made. The studios floors really could with a few repairs. Showing new members around and seeing this is not a good impression. Honestly the gym could do with a bit of improvement, but again currently I’m very happy with the site. Thanks for helping me improve my fitness”
“Lovely beautiful place to have a walk. There is plenty of different walks you can do too which is great. Nice to see peacocks and deers roaming around.”
“Plenty of parking Loads of room and lots to see Deer can be seen here and loads of them You can get close too Small streams and old building ruins Great day out Clean and very well preserved Free entry too ! Get a move on and check it out !! Keep up the great work guys”
“A very large reserve. With about 30 hides to visit you will need to be selective if you are only there for one day. All hides we entered had identification guides on the walls and were in good condition. A well maintained path network between hides. A large visitor centre with a viewing gallery.”
“Always a great place to visit. Sunsets are beautiful to see up there. Solstice is a must. The rocks are of Geological importance. Great views. Don't be surprised to see very long horned cows. They live there. They are a very placid breed. Very photogenic. Dogs on leads. There's a few different paths down to the lower ground. It's a nice walk down but seems very steep on the way back up. Deepening on your fitness level.”
“A perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle. Beautiful walks, picnic area, refreshments and a playground. What more could you ask for.”
“Very open with a small wooded area and pond. Paths are all easy to walk on. There are toilets and dog wash facilities (you pay extra for dog wash service). The main walk is about 2.5 miles around the perimeter which passes by the local rugby ground where if it's Thursday or Friday opens as a delightful tearoom. Car parking is available via barrier entry.”
“Abbey Park is a big city park in Leicester. Facilities are good and convenient to people. I like to spend my leisure time there.”
“There's a lot to see and lots of little trails around watermead. You can access via lots of different areas, there's many carparks. Lots of lakes to explore.”
“Nice park with a variety of activities. There's outdoor gym, kids playground, sensory area, table tennis, tennis court, football golf (need to bring own ball) and more. The car park is free, which is a nice bonus.”
“A quiet and nice place with a big walk path. Plan for the change in weather and pack an umbrella with you. Perfect place to take your dogs for a walk.”
“Such a beautiful park. Something for all the family. Tennis courts, outside gym, play are with sand pit, skate park and pump track.”
