“This pool is everything you could ever want and more. Pool has easy parking and clear access to follow. Pool and area is super clean and warm throughout. Plenty of places to change and get ready, pool is nice and warm and loads of floats and the like for the whole family to enjoy. Would definitely recommend and hope to be back again. Thanks so much”
“Great free sea water pool. Some cement seating on one side or bring a chair or towel. A shallow area roped off about 3ft deep. Deeper pool for swimming or using inflatable dinghies. Life guards during day on peak times 10-6pm. Check high tide times before going as don't swim until 1.5 hrs after high tide due to waves coming over side”
“Fantastic family swimming pool that was a perfect temperature. Set in a beautiful village setting with very friendly staff. Will definitely be back very soon. Would recommend parking in Ashburtons main car park, only 5-10 mins walk to the pool.”
“Beautiful swim, I had the pool to myself. Steep steps down but honestly don't get put off by them as easy enough to navigate. Best to go at low tide. Brilliant little Cornish Village.”
“Very serene beach. Overlooking the bay, a bit rocky. Some picnic benches helps to add magic to this beach. The grassy fields overlooking it are also ideal for families. No food sold here.”
“Great place, our kids live the fun swim, then play in the park and on the skate ramps”
“A very nice warm indoor/jacuzzi. Staff always on hand and very pleasant and helpful. Changing rooms are immaculate and showers are plentiful. Didn't use outside pool as it's October and it's probably very cold lol. There's also a gym which we didn't use snd a sauna which was fabulous. Felt really good when we came out!”

“Great pool for calm swimming. Do keep an eye on the tide to ensure you don't get cut off.”
“Amazing pool staff really friendly. Water kept at a good temperature.”
“Fantastic outdoor pool, nice and warm, plenty of space with floats and pool toys available to use for the family swim sessions. Much cheaper than the hotel pools in town and much more accommodating for young families.”
“Best indoor swimming in cornwall and a must for those staying on Hendra. Decent pool, good slides and lazy river. Been many times and will go many more”
“A fantastic area, great panorama looking over Mount Edgecome, the Breakwater and Mount Batten. There is no life guard at the pool, but it is frequently used by wild swimmers, scuba divers or just those wanting to paddle. There are public toilets by the pool and a cafe with car parking for its customers. Alternatively it's a short stroll from Royal William Yard or Devils Point car park. There is wheelchair accessible walkways but it is stairs down to the water and pool. A pretty location worth exploring.”

“I was visiting Exeter Business School for work and was able to squeeze in a swim here. It's fabulous. Beautifully clean, not particularly busy, and very friendly staff. It helped that the sun was shining. I would definitely return.”
“I love this place. I've been coming here since its Cannons days 20 years ago. Some of the staff from then are still here and they are all lovely, friendly, fun, helpful, supportive. Kay is quite new, but she is the best! Tim's Spinning classes are SO motivating! And Tyrell's Combat is a killer but so much fun they are worth the hard work! Why don't you do food though? A nice healthy meal after Spinning or Combat would go down a treat.”
“I have been visiting Millendreath for nearly 10 years and in the early years, this tidal pool kept full as the tide went out. However more recent years saw storm damage which has resulted in the seawater draining as the tide retreats. This means the pool is constantly changing and at very high tides, the walls completely disappear and are concealed under the waves. You often see people walking along the walls ( although it can be very slippery) but recently a non-effective barrier has been fitted to deter access to the damaged section of the wall. There is a major redevelopment planned of the holiday park in Millendreath and this is a private beach. Whether this is repaired as part of the redeveloped remains to be seen.”
“We used the pool as a family of 6 and really enjoyed ourselves. All the staff were extremely nice and helpful and the cost was very reasonable, I say this because travel up and down the country and regularly visit other pools that are far more expensive. I am definitely gonna try and visit again during my stay in Plymouth, thanks guys for a great experience”
“Awesome Business! Highly Recommend the service was amazing”
“Such great pool alongside the beach , Parking place very good and not pricy!!!”
“Great warm, clean pool. Freindly, helpful staff. Call to reception, book in advance to get a quiet swim or book a family swim. Off season sometimes you can get your own pool for an hour.”
“Private grounds but well equipped and good people”
“Good spot, watch out for jellyfish”
“Many of these quirky man made pools around the Cornish cost, made by damming up a gap between two rock so that the sea water is captured, leaving a safe bathing pool behind. Each high tide the pool is replenished.”
“One of many man made swimming pools seen around the Cornish coast. Dam up a gap between two rocks and the sea cannot escape leaving behind a pool of sea water that is replenished each high tide. Originally there was a ladder down to it from the breakwater but now it is accessible from the beach.”
