“I had the most amazing massage with Kirsty! She asked me which areas I would like her to focus on. She used the perfect pressure and I felt totally chilled out at the end of the session. Kirsty is very professional and clearly knows her way around every soft tissue. She has a very warm character and makes you feel at ease straight away. I would highly recommend a massage with Kirsty!”
“I love this place. I've been coming here since its Cannons days 20 years ago. Some of the staff from then are still here and they are all lovely, friendly, fun, helpful, supportive. Kay is quite new, but she is the best! Tim's Spinning classes are SO motivating! And Tyrell's Combat is a killer but so much fun they are worth the hard work! Why don't you do food though? A nice healthy meal after Spinning or Combat would go down a treat.”
“We had a very informative and helpful session with Andrews associate Paul and would be very happy to recommend him to others. He was both professional and friendly and showed how to manage the problem clearly and reassuringly.”
“We used the pool as a family of 6 and really enjoyed ourselves. All the staff were extremely nice and helpful and the cost was very reasonable, I say this because travel up and down the country and regularly visit other pools that are far more expensive. I am definitely gonna try and visit again during my stay in Plymouth, thanks guys for a great experience”
“No waiting list and good gym to use too”
“Have found Nic to be excellent with my ongoing physiotherapy - she understands totally what exercises need to be done to strengthen and improve my overall mobility. Her vast knowledge, support and understanding of my condition has given me the confidence that I have been lacking.. I Have also joined her Pilates sessions which has helped me to date and I continue to improve and strive to be the best that I can be. Thank you.”
“Professional friendly service dealing with my damaged ankle ligaments. Very thorough investigation, and a clear range of exercises and treatments followed. It was never going to be an overnight fix, but honest assessment that turned out to be correct. Highly recommended.”
“I was in pain - started gradually and slowly made movement of my shoulder very painful. Went to First Contact as a referral from a friend. Was seen the next day, examined, diagnosed and treatment options discussed. The next day, got my ultrasound sound guided injection into the AC joint - with almost immediate pain relief. Both clinicians (Jay and Mike) and the receptionists are welcoming, professional and supportive. Very impressed.”
“Great set up, pools are both great, outside one in good weather is like being on holiday. Classes are very good and the instructors I have met are great (Kev Cardio Tennis top chap) it’s always clean and tidy. Gym Area is small for the size of the building, but apart from January never struggled to get on what I want. Kids have been to a few clubs and enjoy them. Very happy member.”
“Exercise advice helped very much thank you”
“I visited Jane after months of pain in my back and sciatica pain in my leg. I had a slipped disc diagnosed from an MRI scan and nothing else has worked to help ease the pain. I was walking using a walking stick, couldn't stand for longer than a few minutes and in pain 90% of the day. After my first visit with Jane I was able to walk out of the appointment without the walking stick for the first time in over a month! I have had weekly sessions for around 2 months now and I am almost back to normal being pain free. The Tavistock Physio clinic is not like other physio clinics. They use lots of different treatment methods and put together an excellent exercise program to help you to recover. I can't thank Jane and the Tavistock Physio clinic enough for getting me better, and I would highly recommend them to anyone with back or sciatica related issues.”
“I can only give the highest recommendation for David. He helped me overcome some stress that I was experiencing some time ago. His treatment has without question, returned my original confidence and well being.”
“Natalie came to see me as I'd hurt my knee and after an e consult and appointment with physio working from the health centre, the problem wasn't improving. Natalie asked lots of questions and checked to find out exactly what had happened and gave me some simple exercises to do. Noticed a considerable improvement after just one day. Thank you Natalie.”
