“My partner booked this as a birthday getaway for me and it couldn’t have been more perfect. A wonderful experience in the most peaceful setting - we stayed in the Wollemia pod and the horses on the field next door kept us company. The whole garden (and pod) is sustainable and eco-friendly which we loved. We made use of the fire pit which was lovely and warm under the stars. We also treated ourselves to massages and both felt so relaxed afterwards. There were other glampers during our stay but the pods are all cleverly laid out so no one bothers anyone. A very highly recommended stay - thank you Dan and Victoria!”

“We went for a spa day here on New Year's Day and it was the best spa day we've ever had! The range of pools, saunas, steam rooms and relaxation areas was outstanding (we especially loved the outdoor whirlpool that you could swim to from inside the main pool hall, and the private hot tub accessible off one of the relaxation rooms); the food served as part of the lunch package was excellent quality; and the massages were out of this world, the hot stone all-body massage from Christy being the best I've ever had! My only negative comment is for some reason the spa doesn't allow you to select your lunch and treatment times via their website ... or should I say, they DO let you choose them, but they don't honour them – they say the treatment times are only finalised on the morning of the day itself ... meaning you could plan your day around arriving late, having a late lunch and having your treatments in the afternoon ... only to arrive and find your treatments were booked in for first thing (or you could quite conceivably miss them altogether if you didn't arrive early enough). We've never had this at a spa before (we've always been able to book lunch and treatment times in advance) and don't understand why they operate in this manner, especially as their website allows you to select specific times for both lunch and the treatments ... hopefully they remove this unnecessary limitation in the future, as it rather took the shine off the excitement leading up to the day. This aside, we still both left feeling the most relaxed and pampered we'd felt in a long time, and whenever we're next in the area we'll certainly be visiting again!”

“My mum and I called up for our first ever visit 2 hours before our appointment for a deluxe pedicure together. We were fitted in straight away, even though the girls were rushed off their feet and we were treated like royalty! They were so friendly, made us both feel so relaxed and we had such a girly gossip! The treatment was good valve for money and I am so pleased with all the treatments this package included! I can't wait to go back again. Thank you girls!”

“I love this place. I've been coming here since its Cannons days 20 years ago. Some of the staff from then are still here and they are all lovely, friendly, fun, helpful, supportive. Kay is quite new, but she is the best! Tim's Spinning classes are SO motivating! And Tyrell's Combat is a killer but so much fun they are worth the hard work! Why don't you do food though? A nice healthy meal after Spinning or Combat would go down a treat.”

“Lovely relaxing having my hair washed in a massage chair. Lots of advice on various things to do with your hair. Did a lovely job on my nails for my Christmas party. Have not tried their other beauty items, but clean, inviting and friendly all round. Facebook page gets you invites to events that promote new products and treatments. Highly recommend to everyone.”

I've been here for years and enjoyed different classes. There's a thriving squash community here that I know nothing about and swimming lessons that are well taught and organised.”

“I'm reviewing based on both the Aqua spa and the afternoon tea! The spa is great. Very reasonable priced, given more than enough time to enjoy the facilities. They don't overcrowd the spa so that you aren't able to enjoy it. Lots of different areas to experience and relax in. Access to the pool which is great. Changing rooms are lovely. Offer lockers, costume dryers & hair dryers. Showers also have soap. Overall - great. Afternoon tea (best I've had). Sandwiches were lovely, scones were the best I had ever tasted. Perfect combination of fluffy but with a little crunch. I'm sure the jam was home made? Perfectly sweet and I don't like jam so that says a lot! Carrot cake pot was gorgeous, little caramel tort was delicious and the white chocolate/lemon fancie was stunning!! Presentation was great, customer service was very good and the servers kept our water and tea topped up!! Only points would be, probably another sandwhich? A lot more sweet then savoury options! I wasn't to keen on the rocky road but that's a preference I believe!! I've been twice now to do both and will be back again.”

“A very nice warm indoor/jacuzzi. Staff always on hand and very pleasant and helpful. Changing rooms are immaculate and showers are plentiful. Didn't use outside pool as it's October and it's probably very cold lol. There's also a gym which we didn't use snd a sauna which was fabulous. Felt really good when we came out!”

“I had a facial with Tilly - hydro Luxx and absolutely loved it. Tilly made me feel really comfortable and talked me through everything she was doing. My skin has looked lovely and glowy ever since. Would 100% recommend this treatment.”

“I’ve recently visited Vikki - first time for a lava shell massage which was so lovely and relaxing. The heat went deep into my tense muscles and would highly recommend one. Vikki is lovely, very inviting and welcoming and certainly very knowledgable. I then saw a tired eye treatment so I re booked for an eye treatment with a massage. The eye treatment was so relaxing and uplifting, my skin felt lovely. Afterwards I asked Vikki to go through the products she used as I had no skincare routine, she was so helpful and informative. I would highly recommend a visit when she returns from maternity leave. I will be looking for dates when she returns”

“I have been coming here for over a year now. By far the best salon I have ever been to. Always made to feel welcome. Lovely atmosphere. Shanna is incredible with my awkward hair. She takes her time and I am always happy with the end result. Jess has been doing my nails for a while too and again takes her time making sure I am happy. She comes up with new designs for my nails each time and I'm surprised each time how talented she Is. I have recommended the salon to so many people as always get great comments about both my hair and nails. These have now also become regular clients now. Had both hair and nails done yesterday and both stayed late on a bank holiday to ensure I was happy. Not many places do that! Thank you x”

“We had a very enjoyable stay ,it was without doubt a well presented apartment, clean and very comfortable with a full kitchen of appliances. It was a bonus to have a parking space but it was just down the road to the harbour so it was easy to walk. The owner has made the apartment very comfortable and I will be happy to visit again.”
