She makes me feel extremely comfortable and relaxed every time throughout the treatment. Jo is very knowledgeable and has taught me a lot about skincare and how to look after my skin properly. Every session with her feels more than just a facial, it's a whole self-care experience. I always look forward to seeing her every month!”

It’s the little things - name placard on door, beautifully presented gifts on the bed, warm welcomes from every single staff member, gorgeous grounds and perfect cocktails and a lovely breakfast made this stay absolutely incredible. Walk everywhere (ok … downhill - but then just Uber up!) I felt bathed in luxury the entire time I was there. Large, well appointed rooms. Luxurious bed and bedding! And, very serene. Go live your own Bridgerton moment! You deserve it.”

“I was nervous to send my dog in for her first trim but Kelly did an absolutely brilliant job. She was reassuring and explained the different options clearly. She clearly has the dogs best interest at heart and prioritised making my dog comfortable before starting on the trim. My dog looks incredible and her coat is so much easier to maintain now. “Spent a wonderful week at Cheddar Woods, the cabins were clean and well equipped for a self catering stay, including dishwasher and washing machine. We had a hot tub, which was wonderful and hot, and a fake fire place which heats up quickly. The heating and hot water was brilliant, as was the water pressure. There was a heated pool, which again was clean and open mornings and afternoon. There was walks, and Cheddar Gorge is close by. We took a walk down, but take the longer route as it has a path! The staff were friendly, it was great for kids they have a little arcade with cheap £1 rides and a playground outside the restaurant. We didn’t eat in there, but the food looked good. I recommend the fresh milk from the shop, it is delicious. It is a great location, and in beautiful woods. We will be back!”

“I couldn't justify rating the Aztec spa anything less than 5 stars, due to the outstanding customer service we received. The facilities were very good. There's a swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, relaxation lounge, treatment rooms, and gym. Anya the masseuse was amazing. There was an impressive selection of complimentary foods and drinks including cereal, biscuits, smoothie shots, teas, and coffees. A lot of care had been put into providing vegan options at the restaurant. The pool is shared with non-spa users staying at the hotel, which unfortunately meant there was a grown adult man who was splashing his friends on the poolside lounge chairs. As he was the beta male of his group, he was starved of attention and hoped his clowning around would impress the girls who had chosen to sit with the alpha male on lounge chairs instead. I understand that it's not possible to make the pool exclusive for spa users, but it would be good to eliminate immature and disruptive behaviour. It would also be good if they could introduce a fully online booking system, as currently the only option is to book by phone. I would specify on the website that gym access is included as part of spa days, as this is a major selling point. Overall this was definitely a worthwhile experience, and I would happily visit again.”

“My Wife and I went on a Spa day to celebrate Valentines and had a Shea nourishing scrub and wrap. We thoroughly enjoyed it and the nature of the treatment was very relaxing and interesting. I particularly want to mention that Beth my therapist on the day did the best massage for me for as long as I can remember (I hope I remembered her name correctly..) Being a manual therapist, I can tell when I am being worked on by someone highly skilled and talented. Will come back again when we are around the area!”
