We had such a lovely stay at this hotel. The room was absolutely perfect—clean, comfortable, and beautifully prepared. What really stood out was how thoughtful they were toward our kids. They left little robes and slippers just for them, along with juices, which was such a kind and welcoming gesture. It truly made us feel cared for and made our stay extra special. We would happily come back and highly recommend this place to families.

The hotel is aesthetically beautiful. Unfortunately, the service is very poor for a 4-star hotel. When we checked into the room, we found fingernails on the floor, rose petals under the bed—probably left by the previous couple—and a lubricant. Along the corridor leading to the room, including outside our room door, there were bottles and glasses scattered around. Clearly, housekeeping had left them there to take away later, but they remained there all night. It was truly unpleasant to walk among dirty glasses and bottles in a four-star hotel. The room itself was aesthetically nice. Nothing to complain about regarding the spa, except that it was very crowded and full of children since it was Sunday, but fortunately from 7 pm onwards only adults are allowed. The restaurant was also very nice aesthetically, but once again the service was poor. I had to get up more than once to get the attention of a waiter who was talking with colleagues near the counter. We ordered cod, which was not bad, but the linguine with mushrooms and spinach (3 mushrooms and 2 spinach leaves) was basically swimming in oil and nothing else. This morning at breakfast there was no sugar on the table, so I asked a waitress to bring it to me, but it never arrived. I ended up taking it myself from a table that had already been used by other guests. I had also lost an earring and asked reception if anyone had turned in something similar. I was told they would check, but I never received any follow-up.

I had a fantastic full body massage with Adriana. She was very sweet, attentive, and knowledgeable, and she helped me identify what might be causing my muscle pain and how I could work on fixing it. The pressure was perfect and the whole experience was incredibly relaxing and restorative. I left feeling refreshed and relieved. I highly recommend.

Booked an overnight stay at the Aztec Hotel and Spa whilst visiting family in Bristol. Very handy location right by the motorway in from London and ample parking which is free for guests on weekends. Staff were friendly and helpful and check in process was smooth and efficient. I booked one of the signature rooms which was a really good size with a double bed with fitted storage, a desk, curved sofa and wall mounted flat screen TV. Large wardrobe with robes to use in the Spa as well as a Lavazza coffee machine and a modern bathroom with a nice powerful shower. The restaurant was busy at dinner but luckily we booked a table in advance. The food was fantastic, had charred corn ribs and chicken liver parfait for starters, salmon and beef blade for mains and chocolate ganache and cheesecake for pudding. Polite and attentive staff and they had a live singer performing which was a lovely touch. The bar area was nice and cozy with a good selection of drinks and plenty of seating as well as a lovely hot roasting open fire. Beautiful building with lots of character and high ceilings. Spent the morning in the spa which opens at 7am and was very nice and relaxing, particularly the steam room. The hot tub was closed on the day for maintenance which was a shame. Had a bizarre experience at breakfast where they seemed to run out of tables at around 8.30am so there were about 10 people hanging around the bar area but thankfully didn’t have to wait too long before being seated and the breakfast spread was very good with a selection of pastries, breads, jams, fresh fruit and yogurts and cereals as well as cooked breakfast and fresh fruit juices. Very nice coffee from the machines too. Overall a very enjoyable experience even if for just a day and would recommend for a short break if visiting Bristol or for bigger functions as they also have suites for larger events.

This centrally located hotel is excellent. It is clean and modern with plenty of options for eating. We had the superior double which had a sofa seating area and this was designed to feel separated from the bed area. We found this lovely as we were there for a few days and it meant that we were not confined to sit on the bed all the time to be comfortable. The room had a fridge and the free dispenser for milk in the hallway was such an excellent service that really made our stay comfortable. There was also a coffee maker in the room and pods available from reception if we used up the ones already there (my husband really likes his coffee!!). All the staff were friendly and welcoming; nothing was too much trouble. I would say that my only frustration is that parking is extra (it's not like we have an option of parking anywhere else!). Location wise it is no more than 10 minutes from Cribbs Causeway for shopping with a huge John Lewis and lots of places to eat. The Aviation museum is also close by and well worth a visit too. We visit Bristol frequently and will definitely make this our first choice of accommodation.

Fantastic hotel, bedrooms have adjustable heating thermostats to control temperature. Lovely little balcony doors, tea coffee facilities, a fridge and milk and water machine on your hotel floor. Parking is easy, breakfast was wonderful! The pancakes and pastries are lovely, especially the eggs and smoked salmon. Looking forward to returning x

Stayed at the hotel with friends to attend one of their Christmas party nights last night. The hotel has a lovely warm and welcoming atmosphere and was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Rooms are clean and comfortable and equipped with all you need including soft robes for the spa. We were greeted with a delicious mulled cider and the food and service were excellent throughout. The breakfast was especially delicious. Thanks for a lovely stay.

This place is amazing! A hidden jewel! We came for a spa break and everything was perfect! Love the fresh milk machines for the rooms and proper sized mugs. The food was sensational especially the breakfast! The spa area is just divine and the staff are all wonderful. Honestly didn't expect this level of service and amenities and it was a fantastic surprise we had a brilliant time and feel well and truly spoilt & 100% relaxed! We will definitely be back and I couldn't recommend this hotel highly enough! Thank you!!

We received a Spa Brunch day gift for our anniversary of which we were looking forward to. Upon arrival we had very poor communication from the assistant booking us in as she was dealing with someone on the phone as well as dealing with us. I did say we would wait but she left the customer holding. We received no robes or slippers despite asking for them to which the assistant said she would bring them over. We received no itinerary form, got given the wrong locker fob for the package we were on. The pool, sauna and steam room was good. We then went to have 2 x 25 minute spa treatments, there was no communication from the assistant to the beauty therapist to say this was for 2 people, leading to one person having 50 minutes of treatment and the other one missing out, leaving the other person sat freezing cold with no robe in the waiting area. On leaving we approached the Spa Treatment Manager to complain to which she asked us to sit down whilst she dealt with customers who came in after us. She offered us a spa treatment at 3.00pm after we had showered changed and eaten, which was not suitable, when we kindly said no thanks she completely walked away from us with no apology. I certainly would not recommend the Spa Brunch to anyone. Instead of coming out relaxed we were left very disappointed and not very relaxed at all. Not good value for the money we paid.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms and public areas were all immaculate and the spa and pool area were superb. The terrace off the pool was a lovely space to gather and relax in the sun. The food was excellent from breakfast to afternoon tea to dinner. All meals were an extremely high standard of cuisine. This hotel is perfect for any occasion from a break for couples, friends and families and the beautiful gardens make it an ideal wedding venue too. Definitely a hidden gem ⭐️
