“Great place to take your dog for a bit of free running. They've got 2 fields. After the rain it's muddy - especially around the entry gate so make sure to take wellies. A hose is available to clean your dog as well as poo bags and a bowl with water.”

What made our stay even more special was that other family members were just across the way in Sleights Lodge, another luxury lodge. It was so lovely having them nearby — we could spend time together easily, while still enjoying our own space and privacy. From the high-quality furnishings to the thoughtful touches throughout, everything had a real feel of comfort and class. We felt right at home and thoroughly pampered. We’re already looking forward to our next visit, none of us wanted to leave. “An absolutely stunning garden teeming with the most beautiful azaleas and rhododendrons. Paradise on earth on a sunny day. Well worth the entry fee. Picnics are welcome and the toilets were clean. Lots of parking. Not great for the less mobile due to steep undulating paths.”

The site has plenty of parking spaces and the main receptions offers 121 stations and a place to relax. There are also local shops, restaurants, hotels and café all within walking distances.
