“We have been swimming with Puddle Ducks since our son was 10 weeks old, and he is now 3. He has come on leaps and bounds (quite literally!) He is so confident in the water and the focus on safety gives us sense a reassurance. He absolutely loves swimming and it’s something that we love to do together. “I came to Mark with zero confidence and ability in the water. In less than 6 sessions, I can confidently front crawl and tread water. His approach is one of patience and continuous support, underpinned (clearly) by years of experience. The sessions were structured, he took into account my way of learning and was able to explain why things were done in a clear manner. It was also really fun – he's a lovely chap. Anyone thinking about having lessons as an adult and isn't sure – just do it. Mark will get you there!”

“We were lucky enough to book a cancellation slot for yesterday evening, the owner was absolutely lovely and sent the info across straight away-professional, friendly and really welcoming. The pool was amazing, we had an amazing evening and it was definitely worth every penny. The water was so warm, not like other pools where I keep checking the time to see how much longer in the freezing water, this was just perfect. Everything was really clean. Covid restrictions spot on, even a pool manager there to welcome us and check everything was ok. We had such a memorable evening, we can’t wait to book up again. Thank you x”

“You need to book either a weekend or midweek break at Centre parcs, then this is free to use. There are flumes, rapids, hot tub's loads of other water fun entertainment for all ages.”

“This is the best place for swimming in Somerset. Seems to attract the loveliest people, guaranteed calm and relaxation. Also has toilets, changing huts and steps into the river with a handrail and tonnes of parking.”

“Sweet baby Grolnok what a place! We came up today for a mini ramp lesson and will now be back regularly for skates and lessons. Our mini ramp lesson was led by Bella who was amazing and got us trying new things and drop ins, with us progressing in no time at all. She had a great way of explaining things and helping us which meant we.made such amazing progress despite only one lesson. The other staff running the shop were equally amazing and gave some awesome advice on the differences between different brands of gear. The mini ramp itself was fantastic and the main skate area looked awesome. We will for sure be back for.more lessons. The shop also has a awesome selection of gear.”

“This is a great place for hydrotherapy. I take a client with me, and she loves it. However, our session time has changed from Monday lunchtime to Wednesday evening, which was not good. I've emailed management as has my clients partner and my company, but we have had no reply, which we all thought was very rude and inconsiderate, with a don't care attitude.”

“A real gem with abundant wildlife and lots of climbing and outdoor fun for the kids. Parking can be tricky but worth it. Pack a picnic and spend the day enjoying nature! Highly recommend!”

“I love our David Lloyd membership. It is more than a gym membership. It’s a place to meet friends socialise whilst also keeping fit. As a family we are far more active since joining and we are enjoying it in ways I didn’t think we would. I love the fitness classes but also have loved exploring racquets in a fun coaching environment. With a lovely blend of wellbeing sessions to balance it all out. Highly recommend.”

“Absolutely fantastic pool! It's one of the best pool I've visited in England in the past few years. Best thing about the pool is that it is heated. Staffs are friendly and helpful, the pool and changing room are clean. The style of colours is gorgeous. There is a small shop and resting area near the pool.”

Debbie is a fantastic instructor — calm, knowledgeable, and very attentive, making sure everyone feels comfortable and supported regardless of their level. The session was well-structured, relaxing yet strengthening, and I always leave feeling more balanced, stretched, and energised. The atmosphere is welcoming and peaceful. Highly recommend!”

“Really kind helpful staff. Nice pool. Great showers. Such a pity that there is no adjacent parking available. As for having to use a mobile phone app to be able to use the carpark behind the high street shops - utterly ridiculous. Could be a deal breaker sorry to say.”

“Brilliant session for the toddler I look after, this morning....a good sized pool, that's clean with excellent staff. Parking can be a squeeze when it's busy.....there is no private changing area or family changing but if you want a clean, warm pool with a very calm feel and great teachers, this is the place to go.”

“Waves have been very good teaching my daughter from a water confident non swimmer to a level she can swim above and under the water. My daughter continues to have lessons, the instructors are very knowledgeable, patient, positive and who you can tell genuinely want to be there helping their students.”

“My 3 kids and I had swimming lessons with Clare. I highly recommend Clare. She is a brilliant instructor, all my kids like her so much. She is a very good experienced instructor who knows how to motivate children. We only learnt 4 lessons so far and all of us know basic swimming now. Even though we are not perfect still need to improve but from 0 to swimming more than 25 meters only took us 4 lessons is a really good result. Thanks, Clare, you made us confident in the water. “This club is great - everyone is so friendly and welcoming. This isn't my home club but I pop in here relatively often when I'm in the area. Facilities are great and would be very happy if this was local, home club. I've recently started doing a lot more yoga classes and am loving Ann-See Yeoh's classes. Gym is well equipped. Outdoor and indoor pools are great. Always lovely and warm and clean. Wide variety of good food and drink. Highly recommend.”

“I have just read a previous review and felt the need to leave a review of my experience. I find it amazing that i can exercise in the morning then work in the business hub for a couple of hours and then go and have a swim. I think this is brilliant that DV clubs can accommodate that and help people work and keep fit at the same time. This is not the gyms fault that someone doesn’t feel comfortable seeing people combining work & fitness. It looks like some comments and 1 star reviews have nothing to do with the club and its a shame that people feel the need to validate themselves by leaving a bad review on Google. I am so so happy my husband and i have joined the club, my only regret is that we haven’t done that sooner! PS My only comment would be - adding more sugar-free & healthy options to snacks and drinks like lemonade and ice coffee with sugar free syrup etc to the menu.”
