“We’ve absolutely loved our experience with Little Turtle Swim Company so far. Claire is so calm, in tune and incredibly patient with both parents and babies who are new to the pool. The groups are small and intimate, so it genuinely feels like a 1:2:1 swimming class, which has made a huge difference to our confidence in the water. I also really appreciate how supported we’ve felt before even getting in the pool. Little swimmers can start from as early as 6 weeks, and Zara is always at hand to chat through what you need for the sessions. All the information is clearly laid out in the confirmation emails once you’ve booked, but she’s still happy to talk through any worries and even send links to swimwear tailored to your baby’s specific needs. The classes run in 6-week blocks and have become a lovely weekly routine for us. The focus is very much on helping newborns and parents feel relaxed and comfortable in the water, while gently encouraging floatation, rotation, propulsion and immersion through sensory play. You can really see how it all builds towards the babies becoming confident little swimmers over time, rather than rushing anything. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Little Turtle Swim Company to any new parent looking for a supportive, nurturing and confidence-building start to swimming.”

“I booked this company to come out and re-connect and refill my hot tub after a winter shut down. They did not disappoint. They managed to get me an earlier slot than previously stated. “I love coming here, I just wish I had the time to attend more often. Fantastic place where the lifeguards are able to concentrate on their swimmers without extra watching visitors being a distraction. The swim times are timed, so if I am booked at 5pm, I am ready to go at 5pm. The slot is for 1 hour, so the lifeguard gets a 15 minute break before the 6.15 slot starts. This is to welcome the lucky new swimmers, handover to other lifeguards, or maybe take a break. Please bear this in mind, as people giving poor reviews because of their incorrect assumptions is not ok. Time of year is crucial in understanding how long it is safe to swim #ruddycold This is definitely the happy place of many people, with more being welcomed every day. 5 stars for location and service.”

“On a hot day this facility is a god send. I checked other outdoor pools and they were pre book only, all were fully booked. Banbury is first come first serve, you turn up at the time (get there early) and you get in. Very well organised, 4 very vigilant life guards, beautiful and enormous pool.”

Lovely garden area for serving food and drinks. Lots of floats in the pool, and changing rooms with heated flooring.”

“This is a really good gym. They have a 24-hr day pass for £10. Perfect for the weary traveler who needs shelter from the cold. I came to Northhampton in the morning, and couldn't check in into my hotel until 3pm. Fitneds4Less has a good sized pool for lapping. A small jacuzzi just to warm my your bones. Gym equipment are well organized. The group exercise I attended was unique and the trainer was very good at motivating her class. Gym instructors were friendly.”

I was so afraid of water but he immediately put me at ease and now I am able to swim with confidence. He has taught me a lot and I have recommended the centre to friends. James & Claire (owners) offer a 5 star service from personally welcoming you at each session and escorting from the private car park to the pool, and back after, to ensuring the whole journey is as smooth as possible. The grounds and pool area are kept in pristine condition and welcoming, with great small added touches i.e towels and bath robes, to hot drinks and biscuits for after your session.
