“I purchased a hot tub at the Stirling showroom, great service from Stuart. Delivery was smooth and I was informed of the date and the 4 x installers were great. Nothing was a problem. Lee was extremely helpful explaining everything and what was required to operate the tub efficiently. Over all experience was good and customer service great. Gary Graham Falkirk”
“My little one’s been swimming with Michael and the team for a year now and she absolutely loves it. The progress and support she has been shown is amazing. Communication and feedback from Michael is always spot on. Highly recommend!”
“I’ve taken 3 kickstarter sessions with Josie and have found them very useful and enjoyable. Josie is extremely knowledgeable and made me feel at ease with trying new things in the gym and talking through good goals to work towards. In particular she was great at spotting where my technique needed work and explaining how to change it in an easy to understand way.”
“My kids started during the pandemic and they really enjoy their lessons and they love their teachers. They are keen to go and have made great progress too. We had tried other big franchise but decided to stay with Evolution even though it’s a bit of drive from where we live, as I feel the teachers are more caring and thorough. Thanks for the great learning experience!”
“My daughter has been swimming with turtle tots since she was 4 months old. She's now 4 and a half. She has great confidence in the water and that's down to what she's been taught by the fabulous teachers she's swam with. She's had 4 different teachers and each one has been amazing. She loves all the songs they sing and how fun they make the lessons! The badges at the end of each term are a nice touch too! Turtle tot lessons are worth every single penny. Highly recommend them.”
“Love this pool, me and my children come here often, the wave pool is great and the slide is fun. I like how it slopes from shallow to deep, suitable for babies and great swimmers. Showers are good and loads changing rooms. Kids area has little play parts in the pool.”
“I have joined on a family membership. Frazer was tremendous during the sign up process. Love the fact that I can work from the gym on the adult zone and the nip for a swim at lunchtime and then get my food delivered to my working seat. I am in heaven.”
“Just read the previous terrible review giving this lovely facility one star and felt I had to respond. This is a beautiful pool and it has a sauna and steam room. It is very clean and well maintained and the staff are so helpful and friendly. I attended an aquafit class here, then I had a swim and sauna. I left the building feeling very relaxed after all the exercise. The £63 membership that the one star reviewer referred to is a full fitness one- this means unlimited access to any pool, gym or fitness class in the city run by Edinburgh Leisure. Pure Gym only offer gym facilities- there is no pool so there are no aquafit classes there. I would not imagine that they are able to provide the range of classes that Edinburgh Leisure do- at Leith Victoria in addition to Aquafit they run Pilates, yoga, Group cycle, RPM, Zumba and many others. I regularly use both the pool at Warrender and attend classes at the Royal Commonwealth Pool and I was very impressed by this facility and will definitely be back.”
“Honestly this pool is a hidden gem in the middle of Edinburgh tucked conveniently behind Haymarket Station. I went at 9am on Sunday morning and was surprised at how busy it was. The group of older gents in the early morning queue were super friendly and jolly and I had a nice laugh with one of them about the lockers and someone stealing his shoes (kids, joking). The pool itself is clean and bright and the space is lovely. On poolside changing which is a nod to the victorian baths. Poolside was really clean. Five lanes catering for different speeds. Let me use my finger paddles which was cool. Showers fine on poolside. The other swimmers were lovely, the lifeguard waved goodbye to me when I left. I’ve rarely been in a nicer friendlier environment. The ONLY downside was the steps to get into the pool were really odd and wouldn’t fit someone with not great mobility to get in and out. There was a brilliant cafe near by for my post swim breakfast. I’ll definitely be back when I next visit Edinburgh. Wonderful.”
“I always buy a weekly visitors pass to swim at Glenogle when I visit Edinburgh. Fantastic Victorian pool with sauna and steam room, run by friendly and helpful staff. A hidden gem that I would highly recommend!”
“Great swimming experience. Clean and Covid-safe changing environment, well managed. Nice water temperature and pool depth. Good range of lane speeds, would recommend now that we can use pools again!”
“Free parking. Lovely pool, sauna, steam room a d gym. Friendly staff. Very clean.”
“Excellent hotel. We stayed in an executive room after a free upgrade which was dreamy. The rooms were clean and bright, though there's some light staining on some of the carpet. Nothing too bad, probably just needs a refresh. Showers were amazing, and the bed was super comfortable. Staff were all really friendly and helpful. It's about a 5/10 min walk to Victoria Street, so about 10/15 to the Royal Mile. Overall - fantastic for a stay in Edinburgh.”
“Great for the Airport early morning flights, less than 10 minutes away. Nice quiet location, but near the tram lines, which you don't really hear. Staff always lovely”
“Another super clean Victorian pool.”
“Excellent small swimming pool. Suitable for young children to swim. On site cafe with good food selection.”
“Variety of classes. Staff and instructors lovely”
“I’ve been a member of this recreational centre for over a year, and I still look forward to every visit. The staff are consistent in keeping the place clean and organized, and I love that there’s a wide variety of activities to choose from. I mainly use the gym and pool, but I occasionally join group classes as well. It feels like a second home”
“Brilliant facilities! Great gym pool sauna and steam room Great selection of fitness classes Costa coffee and nice snacks. Good prices too.disabled access and parking”
“I’ve really enjoyed my experience at Village Gym Edinburgh. The yoga classes are fantastic—well-structured, calming, and always leave me feeling refreshed. A special shout-out to Natalie at reception, who is always friendly, helpful, and welcoming. She consistently makes the atmosphere even better. Highly recommend!”
“Cait was incredible today, helping with questions, talking about the facility and in general, a lovely person. sinhead however was confusing with the layout and how the facilities work. would maybe visit again though”
“My little boy who’s one year old absolutely loves going to his swimming lessons at swim n learn, he has came on so well. The class has also given me confidence as a parent in the water with my child. Bryan and the team are so professional but also warm, friendly and supportive. Couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to swimming for my little one.”
“I had some sessions with Kate in March 2020. She is hugely experienced and gave me so much confidence in myself. I learnt so much from her, and have recommended her to friends.”
“Brilliant, great way to build the kids confidence and learn to swim.”
“Today was the first day back for my daughters swimming lessons. I think it's great how they've arranged it, staggered the classes so not lots of kids/parents waiting for them going in the pool or coming out. Felt very safe today, my daughter glad to be back.”
“My boy's have been taking swimming lessons here for 2+ years and what a difference it has made. The facilities are top notch and the staff is very attentive to the kids needs and the resultdms speak for themselves.”
