βI decided finally to make a change and improve my health and fitness. Dave and his team are amazing. They have been so supportive and encouraging helping me to make positive changes. As a personal trainer Dave is helping me in stages to realise what I can do, not what I can't. For a novice I think that the gym is perfect, a good size; not too big and very welcoming. We are working to preparing a workout and health plan for my own needs which I am looking forward to. The equipment I've used so far is amazing and well laid out. I am looking forward to Cleanliness and COVID procedures are very reassuring. The team, the gym, and location for me are perfect. Thoroughly recommend.β
βMy first time buying from Fitshop and Phil was so friendly and helpful. Didnβt purchase products on first visit as needed to think about it, but Phil wasnβt pushy or disinterested when I told him this, which I appreciated. I did return a few days later to purchase product which had a fairly good offer on too.β
βKids had great fun trying to climb the different climbing walls.β
βIβve taken 3 kickstarter sessions with Josie and have found them very useful and enjoyable. Josie is extremely knowledgeable and made me feel at ease with trying new things in the gym and talking through good goals to work towards. In particular she was great at spotting where my technique needed work and explaining how to change it in an easy to understand way.β
βFantastic indoor climbing and great gym. Staff super friendly. I will definitely go back in my next visit to Edinburgh!β
βThe best thing I ever did! Been 4 and half years now and genuinely look forward to every class. A great coach and great bunch of guys who have all become great friends. The classes suit all from beginner to advanced with striking and fitness class now included too! The whole family now goes! Ask questions, make mistakes and learn every day. You will be as addicted as the rest of us!β
βI have joined on a family membership. Frazer was tremendous during the sign up process. Love the fact that I can work from the gym on the adult zone and the nip for a swim at lunchtime and then get my food delivered to my working seat. I am in heaven.β
βGreat swimming experience. Clean and Covid-safe changing environment, well managed. Nice water temperature and pool depth. Good range of lane speeds, would recommend now that we can use pools again!β
βExcellent staff, good selection equipment in gym, pool and steam/sauna are worth a visit.β
βAnother super clean Victorian pool.β
βThis was the first of three Premier Inn locations we stayed at during our tour of Scotland. The Edinburgh City Centre location is right in the heart of the city within a few minutes walk of the tram line as well as the train station. Super easy to get to from the airport. Our room was comfortable and quiet. We chose the breakfast included option and were very pleased Premier Inn's breakfast offering. Everything fresh and tasty. A big thank you to Helen who was so warm and welcoming while working hard looking after our table and others each morning. Thank you Premier Inn!β
βVariety of classes. Staff and instructors lovelyβ
βIβve been a member of this recreational centre for over a year, and I still look forward to every visit. The staff are consistent in keeping the place clean and organized, and I love that thereβs a wide variety of activities to choose from. I mainly use the gym and pool, but I occasionally join group classes as well. It feels like a second homeβ
βGreat Experience at Funparx, Edinburgh! We had a brilliant time at Funparx! Booking was quick and easy, and the staff were super friendly and accommodating. The place is clean, fresh, and really well set up, with fantastic play facilities that kept the kids happy and busy. It wasnβt too noisy or overwhelming, which made it a pleasant experience for parents too. The price was reasonable, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the other families there were lovely. Highly recommend β weβll definitely be back!β
βIβve really enjoyed my experience at Village Gym Edinburgh. The yoga classes are fantasticβwell-structured, calming, and always leave me feeling refreshed. A special shout-out to Natalie at reception, who is always friendly, helpful, and welcoming. She consistently makes the atmosphere even better. Highly recommend!β
βFor what you pay it's great value. Campus grounds are nice, Reception staff great. The bedroom is basic but the bed is very comfortable. The shared bathroom is clean but basic. Breakfast is fab. If you're on a budget or want something a little different I'd highly recommend it.β
βVery comfortable neat and cleanβ
βTHIS IS NIT EDINBURGH LEISURE. IT'S NUFFIELD HEALTH CENTRE.β
βIβve been going there for adult swim lessons for over a year. Thomas is the best swim coach Iβve ever had. Iβve had many lessons for the past many years but nobody can match Thomas. I came from deep trauma of being in water. Thomas has helped me progress from zero to now capable of being confident in water (not deep water yet) by myself while learning techniques to swim. I consider myself the most difficult swim student. Heβs very patient, resourceful, funny and 100% great in coaching non-swimmers. Their management also gave me a trial day pass for the gym and allowed me to use their gym one other day while my usual sports centre was closed for refurbishment. I have only great things to say about them. Fully recommend the centre.β
βI joined the Joint Pain programme 6 months ago and found it very beneficial. All staff were extremely helpful. The class leader was very patient and pleasant, the physiotherapist was excellent and I appreciated the fact that he accompanied me to the gym, giving reassurance that I was doing things that would not be harmful. I found the cafe very convenient and reasonably priced. The relaxed, friendly atmosphere with Freddie and all those on duty made the whole exercise experience a pleasure and one to be continued.β
βAs a whole the building is a great place to stay. The rooms are very spacious and meet the standard of student accommodation. The building manage and receptionist is a great addition to the building as she is very helpful and someone you can go to with any concerns. The building also has great communal space where residents can socialise. Overall a great living experienceβ
βBeen a member for many years and canβt fault Nuffield Fountain Park. Excellent facilities and really friendly staff. Decent size pool, well equipped gym and regular classes. The health club is run very efficiently by management who are always responsive to any concerns / issues. Very relaxed atmosphere and always look forward to my visit. Big shout out to Manya and Leandro for your excellent customer service, friendliness and warm welcomes every time I visit. The freshly squeezed orange juice from the cafe is amazing. Keep up the good work all and well done.β
The Manual Therapy Clinic is centrally located on Lansdowne Crescent, offering expert physical therapy in the heart of Edinburgh. This professional practice is dedicated to helping clients recover from both acute injuries and chronic physical conditions. The clinic specializes in manual therapy and physiotherapy, utilizing advanced techniques like Indiba Activ therapy. Core services include sports and deep tissue massage designed to target deep-seated tension and promote healing.
βI can thoroughly recommend Claire. I consulted her over several months for a sore shoulder. Claire helped it get better via hands on treatment and a suite of online excercises. The fact that they are online was good as it let you see how to do the exercises correctly. I would happily consult Claire again, should the need arise.β
βIβve had the opportunity to spend a few days at the Athlete Academy with Rob Anderson, his team and the young athletes who train there. This was probably one of my most memorable and insightful experiences during the three years I spent in the UK as I am an S&C. Rob was friendly, easy to interact with, and very open about sharing the systems his Academy follows. Having the holistic approach of exercise, nutrition and developing good habits at such a young age was amazing to see. With my Interest in youth fitness, spending time with Rob and his Academy inspired me to start something similar in Chennai, India and develop the young athletes in my country!β
βRooms are nice, exquisite and very comfortable. I would say this is affordable luxury. All of the staff are very pleasant and polite. They always want to help, no matter what. Not forgetting that breakfast is free and really nice. You can move around the ship for some sight seeing and we also got two free tickets to see the Britannia Yatch (Tickets can be transferred or used at anytime). The location is quiet. It was indeed a floating experienceβ
βI had a few sessions with Anthony and he's great! Although originally I went there to work through some back pain issues, we moved on to talk about my running efficiency and how to improve it, and even had a look at a problem with one of my toes. I feel he's been there looking for my general health!β
βThe Art and Spirituality Centre is a wonderful space to hold classes and workshops. I have hosted several sessions in the centre and it is always a pleasure to teach there. Giada, the owner, is very welcoming and friendly she is always happy to help with any questions that I have had. The space is very spacious and adaptable for all types of classes and events. Its location is accessible to get to from different areas across the city. As well as being an accessible location, it is accessible for those with disabilities as it's entrance is on street level and the centre is across one floor. I would highly recommend visiting the centre for classes and to hire for your events.β
βMatt is a great coach and motivator. His thoughtful, positive approach was just what I needed and I will be sad to leave him as I move on from Edinburgh. Cannot praise Matt or the Luke Bremner enough for their indivualised and professional approach. Thank you.β
βPrime Physio has been such a great help in providing excellent treatment for various muscular issues. On the few occasions visited I've always found Lisa's care and delivery of treatment plans as outstanding. I can't highly recommend Prime Sports Physiotherapy & Wellbeing enough!β
