“I loved the experience! It was amazing at getting my brain working, as soon as I had finished I just wanted to do it again! I still can’t get over how fantastic the set was!! Daniel was our guide and he had lots of enthusiasm and was really bubbly and friendly! It was a great birthday surprise! I’m going to come again for my birthday next year definitely!!”
“We (2 persons) did 221b Baker Street. We loved the experience (we got out with 8 minutes to spare)! It's a great escape room. With a real Sherlock Holmes case to solve. Decoration is well done. Taylor heplt us with the explanation and everything was very clear. Possibly coming back to do some other ones.”
“Our team had a really lovely time! While we were in town we did all six rooms, Ritual, Machina, and Alcatraz were our favorites. The other three were also very enjoyable. The team of game masters we had, Cameron, DJ, Noel, David, Stephan, Rebecca, Eve, Lillie, Bob, and Alex were very kind and helpful. One day they even made us tea while we waited for the room. Each game master set up the back story for us (always choose the backstory! It sets the mood for the room in a fun and interactive way). After each session they offered us great props and a little photo shoot which was fun and goofy. The puzzles come in a variety of ways and follow the theme of the rooms. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely come back for any new rooms!”
“We recently brought a group of young adults to Edinburgh Combat Challenge, and it was an amazing experience! Lewis, who led our group, was fantastic – really organised, supportive, and made sure everyone had a great time. He even arranged pizza for the group, which was a lovely touch. A huge thank you to Edinburgh Combat Challenge for supporting the work that Omazs Den does – it truly means a lot to us. Everyone absolutely loved it, and we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend for a fun and energetic day out!”
“Brilliant experience and really enjoyable game with lots of different puzzles. Our quiz guide Taylor gave great clues when we appeared to be struggling but not obvious enough to make it easy. We both thoroughly enjoyed it and hope to return to tackle some other rooms in the future.”
“Amazing experience! Really challenging escape room which was really entertaining. Matthew was a great host with timely hints! We’ll be back!”
“Kids had great fun trying to climb the different climbing walls.”
“I had a great experience at Xtreme karting. Very well organized, great equipment and friendly experienced staff. Track is very good across 2 levels. Had a blast.”
“We started going to Baby Sensory (Ocean Terminal) when baby was 6 months, and it is with great sadness that we have now aged out (13 months). The sessions are really interactive and take into account the range of ages and developmental stages of the babies. Adele is an amazing facilitator and as my baby became more mobile, he was allowed the just do his thing. I would 100% recommend the class - we went through those 7 months with a couple of mums, so we knew other people. It's a great way to let your baby socialise but also explore.”
“My daughter has been swimming with turtle tots since she was 4 months old. She's now 4 and a half. She has great confidence in the water and that's down to what she's been taught by the fabulous teachers she's swam with. She's had 4 different teachers and each one has been amazing. She loves all the songs they sing and how fun they make the lessons! The badges at the end of each term are a nice touch too! Turtle tot lessons are worth every single penny. Highly recommend them.”
“I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in North Queensferry. The room was amazing — spacious, clean, and incredibly comfortable, with a bed that made it hard to get up in the morning. The restaurant was another highlight; the food was truly top-notch and worth every bite. If you can, definitely choose a room with a view of the bridge. It’s absolutely stunning and adds something special to the whole experience. Parking is available, but finding a spot on the weekends can be a bit challenging, so it’s worth keeping that in mind. Aside from that, the staff and service were exactly what you’d expect from a hotel of this brand: professional, attentive, and consistently helpful. Overall, a wonderful stay in a beautiful location.”
“The food was absolutely delicious! Both the pasta and the risotto were cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. The dishes came out really fast, and the overall experience was smooth and enjoyable. The service was warm and welcoming — HARIA was especially friendly and attentive. Highly recommend this place!”
“Great staff, close to all, good stay Great location, fantastic daily breakfast and could take things for lunch they supplied disposable boxes! Staff we encountered were lovely. Room very match box size, no mini fridge or fan - needed as was so hot no aircon. Environmentally friendly practices top marks: opt out of daily room cleaning, measures food waste - this is displayed to see in dinner.”
“We had a fantastic experience, the food was outstanding, the wine was at the perfect temperature, the atmosphere was relaxing and the service was attentive but not overbearing. Our first time here as my wife wanted to try it, so I took her for her birthday. Our new special occasion venue.”
“Massively rate this shop, never experienced such good customer service ❤️❤️”
“Excellent staff *& v friendly & helpful my boy loves it So do Iol...”
“Very nice hotel and the staff and breakfast were excellent. The problem I had was finding the hotel as it is on Edinburgh University campus area and there is no signage on the side of the hotel facing the road. The room was really nice with interesting lighting features. They do offer free parking and it is 6 minutes from the airport”
“Very friendly staff. Great for birthday parties. Ideal for the winter when it’s miserable outside and you need the kids to burn some energy. The climbing walls are also great fun.”
“Excellent hotel. We stayed in an executive room after a free upgrade which was dreamy. The rooms were clean and bright, though there's some light staining on some of the carpet. Nothing too bad, probably just needs a refresh. Showers were amazing, and the bed was super comfortable. Staff were all really friendly and helpful. It's about a 5/10 min walk to Victoria Street, so about 10/15 to the Royal Mile. Overall - fantastic for a stay in Edinburgh.”
“Great few days away staying in this hotel, the location is great and easy walking access to new and old parts of Edinburgh. Rooms lovely and clean. Staff friendly at reception. Breakfast is great with plenty of choice. Must give a mention to Raul at breakfast, nothing too much trouble. Will definitely stay here again if visiting Edinburgh”
“We had a great time in Edinburgh, in part thanks to getting a good nights rest and breakfast at this hotel. The staff's very friendly. I'm an extremely light sleeper. Before we've even arrived, Emi went out of her way to place us in a room at the back of the hotel, far away from the lift, which was very much appreciated. We arrived an hour too early, but were able to check in right away. The rooms were clean, as was the whole hotel. It does feel a bit sterile, but it's on brand. Location is great. It's close enough to the city centre that most of the highlights are within walking distance. And the parts that aren't, you can always get by bus, which stops almost next to the hotel. Restaurants, fast food places and express supermarkets are all situated within a five minute walk, as well.”
“Variety of classes. Staff and instructors lovely”
“Pleas which I shouldn't visit. I went only for batteries and bulbs... LOL and ended with bunch funny Christmas presents ... Including this on the photo. Lady on the till was not showing enthusiasm, that she is blessed and have work. Maybe being only on Job seekers allowance will give her motivation to smile to customers, and not showing disgust for bought items. Please retrain her.”
“We had a great time bowling and playing the arcades.”
“This place deserves 5 stars as a definitely the best Childcare in North Edinburg, thank you so much for take care about little ones.”
“I’ve really enjoyed my experience at Village Gym Edinburgh. The yoga classes are fantastic—well-structured, calming, and always leave me feeling refreshed. A special shout-out to Natalie at reception, who is always friendly, helpful, and welcoming. She consistently makes the atmosphere even better. Highly recommend!”
“We had a fantastic stay at the Holiday Inn Express Edinburgh City Centre! The location was incredibly central, which made it so easy to explore the city on foot. It felt safe and lively, with tons of restaurants, shops, and sights just steps away. Our room was spacious and comfortable, which was such a pleasant surprise for a city hotel. It gave our family plenty of space to relax after busy days out. The breakfast was excellent—plenty of options, both hot and cold, and everything was fresh and well-stocked. It was the perfect way to start our mornings. The staff were so friendly and helpful!! What really made our stay extra special was how the staff helped celebrate our daughter’s birthday. They surprised her with a sweet birthday treat, and it meant so much to her—and to us! Overall, we felt really well taken care of and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a convenient, comfortable, and family-friendly place to stay in Edinburgh!”
“Lovely location for a hotel, just a 10 minutes walk from the castle and the royal mile. Very scenic buildings in the vicinity. Staff very polite and helpful, looked after the bags on the day of checking out so we could make the most out of our last day. Modern, clean room with good temperature control. A very good stay and perfect hotel for a couple.”
“I had read reviews before booking and was slightly concerned as there were a few negative reviews about staff and location . My experience was fantastic from the moment we arrived as we were recieved by a lovely welcoming receptionist who sorted the booking in an instant and was very sweet and informative. The room was clean and very comfortable and I felt the hotel had a warm atmosphere. My son and I chose to have a meal in the restaurant and were given great service by the bar and waiting staff.Food was really good and the Manageress was excellent running around and ensuring customers were happy and attended to there every need.Top marks to the staff and for the excellent service. I would recommend this hotel .As far as location and complaints about the distance from Edinburgh city centre these people obviously got on the no. 1 bus instead of the 26 which only take 15 /20 minutes to take you into the centre of Edinburgh. No complaints from me and would book again.”
“Booked family room, 2 adults 1 child. Room was spacious and was in perfect location for holiday. 10 minute walk from train station, as it was close to royal mile we could walk the length of it easily and not worry about walking back to hotel. Plenty of cafes nearby for food / drink. Room was by road which goes quiet in the evening so don't have to worry about being awake at night. Could see Arthur's seat from room which was great, and could look at the beautiful architecture of the buildings.”
